• The hotel & staff exceeded our expectations.
• Not enough parking.

“We were very pleased with our room. The room was very clean, well kept, comfortable bed, crisp linens, the morning breakfast was good & the staff very accommodating.”

• The assistant manager was helpful when we realized our car had been vandalized.
• It took 3 hours for us to convince the police to take our report. Everyone that we came in contact with regarding the theft and vandalize suggested to not stay in this area. Hotel General Manager did not agree with the officer that patrols this area.

“The hotel was very nice. However, the location of the hotel is very misleading. DO NOT stay in hotels in San Antonio located on IH 35 between Eisenhauer Rd and Rittman. Auto theft and crime is high due to surrounding neighborhoods. This was the advise that the San Antonio Officer, Tow Truck driver and Service Advisor at the car dealership told us after we discovered that our brand new vehicle had been vandalized and contents of our vehicle had been stolen. The hotel has security cameras but the thief's new enough about the coverage of the cameras to stay out of their view. The officer and tow truck driver said that La Quinta gets hit more than Hawthorn Suites. We should have taken the clue when we saw the Sherri f Deputy acting as security guard at the Red Lobster just a few blocks north of the hotel.”

• Huge rooms and a free breakfast buffet.

• Living area separated from sleeping area.

“Very nice accomodations for a one night stop over...relatively close to downtown San Antonio. Less than 30 min.”
