• Didn't leave Kleenex first night second didn't leave toilet paper.

“If you are traveling with others a nice hotel. If you are traveling alone you might get scared because men smoke in parking lot which is creepy because what if they really aren't smoking but watching you.”

• Not able to have a downstairs room; no elevators.

• I had traveled for 20 hours. They allowed me to check in early. Great staff.
• The beds were to small. No refrigerator in room. Small coffee pot.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is older. Location was good for Schlitterbahn. Restaurant in vicinity was only Mexican restaurants. They did allow me to check in at 11:00 that morning. That was nice considering we were exhausted from travel.”

• Was right off I35 and was attractive enough from the outside.
• The room for the breakfast was not set up to handle the crowd, and could not maneuver there. Bathrooms were extremely small and could hardly undress.

“The staff was pleasant enough, but had to ask for everything we needed including towels, rags (had room for 4 and one rag) and more breakfast batter when they ran out. Confirmed a late check in the night before and confirmed a refrigerator would be in room and was not there. Staff could not get it until the following day and my food was ruined. Wont go back there.”

• Low quality accommodations resulted in lack of sleep.

“We were ok because we were just staying the night and going on but it definitely fell short of my expectations and was probably not an experience that would encourage my co-worker to try it out in the future.”

• Front desk employee was wonderful, really went out of his way.
• WiFi in room was weak or non-existent.

“Free breakfast was terrific, hotel was clean, with very helpful and friendly staff. Only one negative: the in-room WiFi was very weak and at one point non-existent. WiFi in the lobby was excellent.”

• Location, too noisy, no single beds, small beds, no room internet.

“I loved every staff member. We had a great experience with the manager and all the clerks, very attentive. Breakfast was good for the price, but it is located next to two major interstates, train station, and industrial warehouses, which makes for a lot of noise, making it hard to sleep and rest.”

• Accessibility to Ft. Sam.
• On one-way of a highway, plus a construction. Road block made navigation a challenge (not their fault!).

“Newly renovated, quiet, clean and comfortable amenities, very courteous staff. Very accommodating!”

• Location worked out well.
• Bathroom looked old and molded. The soap holder and surrounding tile broke off the wall and fell while I was in the shower.

“The desk clerk was extremely nice. My room was directly facing the pool and there was a constant ongoing of loud screaming of kids while swimming. The bathroom soap holder and surrounding tile broke off and fell on my foot while I was in the shower. There is a security guard on duty during the night, so I felt safe.”

“Overall good, I asked if the handicap room had a bathtub and the clerk told me that it did, it just had a handrail, and unfortunately it did not have a bathtub.”

• Beds uncomfortable, breakfast overcrowded.

“A standard hotel by appearances. The beds were springy felt kind of cheap. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The pool was nice. The continental breakfast included was over crowded. They seemed to be short a bit on staff as we needed extra towels & toilet paper for one night & we had to get them ourselves.”

“This hotel was a great stay for the money. The rooms were clean and well made up when we got there. The bathroom was a little dingy, but nothing too disgusting. Mainly a spot here or there, only something an extreme gramophone would complain about. We didn't use the pool because it was too cold, but I did check it out anyway. It was a bit under worked; a lot of leaves and a plastic bag of some sort were floating in it. The pool area was fine though. Plenty of parking to go around, finding a spot was not hard at all. All in all, it was a good stay.”
