• Not a good experience.
• Security not good, people outside motel rooms all hours of the night. Cockroaches in the rooms.

• Got locked out on last day. Did not clean room last day.

“This property is an old property that has not been well maintained. Did not meet expectations for two star hotels.”

• My husband had heart operation in Lawton; This is a great place to stay if you need to stay in Lawton.
• Can't say anything bad about this hotel, work for me at my time of need. Thank you the hold staff at Red Lion.

“I'm not that good with words. Under the pressure we where under over the open heart operation. When health problems my husband was going thought. We enjoy our stay with you at Red Lion Hotel. Hope to be able to do it again after my husband recover his operation. He is going well and will be out soon.”

• They are refunding my money!
• There was Black Mold in the Bathroom!!! Nasty!

“You would think they would take better care of the rooms... You can get sick staying at this hotel. We have the pictures of the black mold in the bathroom. Serious health hazard”

• The staff was very helpful and friendly. Beds very comfortable.
• The carpets need replaced as they were worn and soiled.

• Nice gardens.
• Not enough electrical outlets for cell phones, etc.

“Non-smoking rooms still had aired of smoke (from prior use as smoking room). Slightly above average for room and am breakfast.”

• They had very nice shampoo and lotions from bath and body shop.
• The room smelt terrible, the air conditioner did not cool. The second night it stopped working. The management told us they were sold out.

“The room smelt of urine. The air conditioner never cooled the room. The second night the ac stopped working. The management told us they were sold out. The carpet was soaking with water from the ac. My husband took the unit apart and somehow got it to start running again. The temp was in the 100's. When I first made my reservations, I called the hotel and requested 2 beds. They said ok. The day we were arriving I called to confirm 2 beds and they said since I was going they had the right to change it back to 1 bed. They were very rude. This place was not a 2 star. I spoke to several other people there and they all said that there rooms were only tolerable. We were there for a military graduation, it was suppose to be fun and enjoyable. I would NEVER stay there again. If I had not prepaid we would have left.”

• Night clerk was friendly.
• Toilet broke, AC broke, we didn't get 2 beds as ordered.

• I liked how fast the maintenance. Team came to help me twice.
• I was locked out of my room for a total of 6 to 7 hrs because the key would quit working.

“Under the circumstance BJ, Pam and Bre were very professional and kept a good attitude while trying to deal with a frustrating situation in that my room key would quit working.”

• The staff was very cooperative and tried to help us with everything we needed, they also had a full buffet breakfast.
• Every thing was fine.

• The mini fridge.
• Small pool.

• The courtyard was beautiful. The staff was very friendly.

• It was very close to Fort Sill, which was our goal.
• On last day of stay I saw a bug climbing on the bathroom wall.

“For the purpose of our stay, it was perfect. We did not want to spend very much money on the room, because we would not be in the room for very long. The desk clerk, Lisa was very helpful and gave great directions directly to the hotel.”

• Free hot breakfast, great location, friendly staff.
• Could be cleaner - not enough housekeeping staff.

“We were in Lawton for military graduation. The room was more than adequate and, when there was a problem, the staff addressed the problem immediately. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would gladly stay there again. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.”

• Most of the people were honest and friendly.
• When my room got cleaned the cleaning person emptied my refrigerator of my stuff.

“The night crew is very nice friendly and helpful the morning lady put me off when I called about my refrigerator being cleaned out and she said she would get back to me and never did. So if you are to stay there you shouldn't leave anything in the refrigerator.”

• I needed low cost for the days I was staying in Lawton.
• Hotel just seems to be run down everything is old and outdated.

“Hotel is large and centrally located in Lawton. Staff was friendly and courteous. Hotel was built many years ago and the rooms need to be remodeled. Overall stay was okay for business but wouldn't feel comfortable about leaving my family their because of the area.”

• The hotel had been recently updated and a breakfast buffet was included with your stay.
• The bathrooms were very small.

“The hotel was is in an older part of Lawton, but has been recently updated. The rooms are comfortable, staff was friendly, and a full breakfast buffet was included. I felt the hotel was an overall good value.”

• It was convenient location.
• It took 4 tries to get into my room. Room smelled of smoke.

“I had trouble getting the key card to work in the door. They re programmed it on numerous occasions then finally gave me a new card. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful trying to get me in my room. The breakfast had a long line trying to make waffles, so did not take time to eat. One waffle iron for that many people was not sufficient. The walkway between my inside room and my car had a cigarette butt container and people were standing there smoking as I went through and it was thick with smoke and uncomfortable going through it. Overall, a rating of 5 of 10 for this hotel.”
