• Comfortable,clean, close to attractions and affordable.
• Manager parks car under drop off port making check in and out difficult due to narrow entry.

• Good quality furniture & bed.
• The shower had low water pressure; and the tiled entry to the door made all the noise in the halls very loud.

“This hotel was not sound proof at all - you heard everything below, above and down the hall that was going on. Very hard to sleep at night due to the lack of sound proof ness.

• Had plenty of space in the room.
• Difficult to access from the highway. One way was ok.

“Was very nice, however, it had only one access to get to the property. That was a big downside.”

• Surpassed my expectations for what I thought it would be.
• Regular rates too high.

“I thought Best Western's were of lower quality. As someone who stays in hotels half his life, I was sure this would be something I'd be forced to tolerate after I found out I was staying here. It was much better quality than I expected.”

• Decor was attractive inside.
• Hotel smelled of smoke, room keys never worked right.

“Hotel smelled of smoke everywhere, the breakfast was skimpy and cold and when the staff was asked to do something about it, they were rude and unresponsive. The parking was very skimpy and difficult to park due to layout of parking lot.”

• I liked the large room with the seating area. It was a nice space to relax.
• For breakfast, they only had one person to stock the food, and she had trouble keeping up with all the guests there eating.

“Overall, we enjoyed staying at this hotel a lot. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff was helpful. There are a few shortcomings, such as the breakfast being stocked by only one person, being close to the highway, where the traffic can be loud, and having the bathroom light switches outside the bathroom.”

• Very inviting.
• When we went to lobby for extra blankets and pillows, they were out for the pull out sofa.

• Breakfast buffet.
• Wrong room, not near Sea world, Gouged furniture, and incompetent staff.

“Staff cold - not provided directions to and from places in the same city. The sheets had tears, the desk was gouged up, and the towels were poor quality. This was a disaster that ruined my husband's 40th birthday and my family's vacation.”

• The staff was very friendly, the hot breakfast was better then the usual continental breakfast. The pool area was nice.
• The food ordered from the room took awhile to get there and it was getting cold. It was very good after heating it in the room microwave.

“The room was large; it had a hide-a-bed which we did not expect. It was conveniently close to Sea-World and Fiesta Texas. We ordered from the room menu the first night and the food was excellent. We all enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The big surprise was the hot breakfast. All we could eat and a very good variety. The staff at the hotel was very nice and polite. The ladies working in the breakfast area, in the morning and the evening were very nice. I enjoyed talking to them. I also enjoyed coming to the room in the evening. It is also located close to restaurants which made our stay there more enjoyable.”
