“Great location, convenient to most things in San Antonio. For the price the rooms are reasonable but no frills.”

“Staff worked well with us, we had reserved the wrong date, but they got us a room. Was disappointed that even though wireless was advertised, one of the reasons I chose the hotel, we would have had to pay for it.”

“The hotel did not look clean and maintenance apparently is not high on their list. Of the three ice machines, only one worked and outside with temps over 100, one was not adequate. No Continental breakfast was offered, or if there was it was gone by 8am. Beer bottles were strewn outside the side door and did not get picked up that day. Location was its best feature.”

“Breakfast wrapped muffin, maybe fruit. They don't restock it, get there early. There were two coffee makers, and out of that one broken. Rooms clean in center, not vacuumed around furniture. Front desk didn't answer phones when called, nor were they helpful in locating a fork for take out dinner or a place to charge digital camera. 1st day no running water for several hours, most days very little hot water for showers. Alarm clock was broken. Pool closed in afternoon to add water when it was 102 degrees out. AC very loud and must run constantly. 8 minute walk to Alamo, but get back before dark, walking a bit unsafe. Ice machines and vending machines don't work. We would not stay here again.”

“Family and pet friendly. Basically clean. Staff pretty friendly and helpful. Close to downtown. Provides breakfast but not very long or much.”

“Overall fairly clean, and adequate. We just wanted a reasonably priced hotel near the Riverwalk. The towels are really thin and rough, they give you little packets for shampoo and I am glad I brought my own toiletries. I wish the breakfast was more substantial - they had little muffins and juice and coffee. They were not well prepared for the Memorial Day crowds and it took me an hour to check in.”

“This hotel over priced, and the staff couldn't be bothered if you were there or not.
very clean
however and fair location, except don't be out to walk to the hotel at night, very scary.”

“Most of the hotel staff were pretty friendly. Some of the carpets were stained and noise was easily heard through the halls and walls. The breakfast didn't have alot of choices and ran out of muffins EARLY EVERY MORNING. The beds were not very comfortable, however, the room we stayed in was clean. I guess when we pulled into the parking lot and it looked like a 2 star hotel and then entered and realized it was of 1 star quality, we were very disappointed. I must mention that it was nice being walking distance to the Riverwalk and Rivercenter Mall.”

“Nice hotel for the money. The only thing that I didn't like was the location. Although it was close to main attractions, the 1/2 mile walk was a little deserted and under the freeway.”

“The staff was friendly and helpful but the room I stayed in was next to an elevator and it was noisy. Also the hotel was close enough to train tracks when the train came through it sounded its horn for 2-3 minutes more often than I would liked to have heard it especially in the evening. I would not recommend this hotel.”

“Room very sparse, for example Kleenex packet instead of a box, and garage door in disrepair. Will give it credit for being clean and quiet, though.”

“This place is by train tracks, so you hear trains all night. The heaters and air conditioners are antiquated and not kept up properly.”

“Pleasantly surprised. Especially with the location and walking-distance closeness to the Alamo, Riverwalk, shopping, and myriad restuarants.”
