• Clean, comfortable and great location. Service requests were handled very promptly.
• Parking lot signs could be clearer, outside and even inside (how to get to the elevator to the lobby). Only one elevator to the parking garage.

“Nice, comfortable, standard Marriott hotel in the Rivercenter mall and right off the Riverwalk. Located right beside another Marriott hotel so be careful which one you end up at. Meets all expectations of a good Marriott hotel - not overly luxurious, but well enough.”

• The hotel staff was excellent. The location was perfect for my family's needs.
• The hotel walls were not well insulated and we could hear too much from the next room.

“The hotel was nice, same room you see in any Marriott. The location was great for the Riverwalk. The hotel staff really set the hotel apart from others, they were extremely helpful and always asked if there was anything else that they could do to make our stay better.”

• Very busy. Nonstop traffic.

“Concierge service was very alert and made good recommendations. The customer service was outstanding as they always made sure we were more than satisfied. Centrally located which made it easy to travel on the Riverwalk..”

“Staff is very professional and accommodating. Room was very nice and sparkling. Flat screen TV was very appreciated. Hotel sports several restaurants and was in very close proximity to many more.”

“Nice hotel but the room was one of the smallest I have ever stayed in and then the hotel charged $21 per night to park in their garage. There were no other safe parking options so we had to pay that amount and park in their garage.”

• Housekeeping accidentally took two articles of my clothing left in the bathroom amongst towels. That's just not acceptable!

“This hotel is very nice and comfortable. The hotel staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Two complaints about house keeping though: they accidentally took two articles of my clothing left in the bathroom amongst towels. They also knocked on our door the last morning of our stay and woke us up! A little too enthusiastic about getting us out of the room so they could clean it.”

• Very nice room, comfortable bed and quiet.
• Excessive daily parking fee and excessive charge for internet use.

“The hotel was very comfortable and met my standards. However $22+ daily parking fee and $10 daily internet connection fee were, in my opinion, over the top.”

• The size of the rooms.

“Every time we go to San Antonio we stay at the Marriott River center because of their location and because their beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The only complaints I have is that the rooms are very small, but there's nothing they can do about that now and the pool was under construction (we knew that when we booked). The location is perfect; it's connected to a great mall and it's right on the River walk.”

“Overall cleanliness and quality was good. However, I would not rate this as one of the best in the area. I've had the opportunity to stay at some of the other higher-end hotels in the area and this definitely does not fall in that group.”

• That parking was not included in the hotel fee.

“I really enjoyed my stay there it was a nice hotel room and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The mall was also a plus.”

• Location was great, staff very helpful in assisting with children under age 5.
• Bathroom sink had a small leak that caused the carpet under the sink to be damp.

• Smoking rooms were not available, bed was a little uncomfortable.

• Location to the Riverwalk/mall was fantastic.
• The room was small and the view was a parking garage. Parking was $21/day.
