• The swimming pool and the friendly help.
• It had no breakfast which cause a hardship my sister at the Marriot across the street at the Fairview with a wonderful breakfast for a lesser price.

“The swimming pool was great and the help at the main desk awesome. I would not stay again since there is no breakfast provided.”

• Lots of parking, convenient access to restaurants and shopping.
• Access to hotel is confusing, no signs indicating lobby in back of hotel.

“The staff was very accommodating. The hotel was clean and well maintained and importantly "non-smoking". The access to the hotel is confusing as there are 2 driveways 1 goes to Pappadeaux's. The hotel also sits well back of the road making it difficult to determine which driveway to use (I missed it the 1st time and had to drive back around). Then when I did get in I did not know the lobby is behind the hotel away from the frontage rd. The parking in front is restaurant only parking and I walked around the hotel to find the lobby, weird layout at best.”

• Entrance hidden behind restaurant.

“I was given a key to an occupied room. Walked in on an unpleasant scene front desk did not believe me. I was embarrassed and shocked, but I did get a different room. After the front desk questioned me if I was sure I walked in on the right room and if I was sure that someone was in there.”

• Excellent service.
• Fog made the window to the indoor pool area ugly.

• Employees were friendly and helpful.
• What was passed off as a handicap room was not.

“I was told that I was given a handicap room. However, there was only one hand hold bar in the bathtub [vs. the usual handicap shower] and no other hand hold bars in the bathroom\rest room. At the check out desk, I brought this to the attention of the clerk. I was informed that the room was for the handicap. I must say, I've never had a handicap room like that. The lack of a proper handicap bathroom blemished the otherwise pleasant stay. I would hope that Marriott will do better.”

• Indoor pool was good for off times, good location to the airport and north San Antonio.
• Not a ding on the airport, just the construction on i410.

• Very convenient to the medical center area.
• A bit off the beaten path for Downtown visitors.

“The hotel was easy to get to from either direction of travel. The rooms were bigger than average. Hotel staff accommodated our request for a nice view and balcony. This hotel is close to the airport, dining and all shopping areas. Had a great time.”

• Comfortable when finally got situated.
• They put me in a handicapped room see below.

“I ask to be moved and they tried to say they couldn't, because I had made a rest for the king. Then they finally moved me to a double bedded (non handicapped room). I have a very negative feeling about staying in a handicapped room.”

• The lights went out for 60 minutes and it was inconvenient.

• Indoor pool was great plus they had pool toys.
• Nothing.

“The hotel was great. There was a very knowledgeable employee at the front desk who recommended good places to eat or go. He appeared to know what the area well. The indoor pool was great. The best thing about it was that they had noodles and pool toys which really saved our vacation because it rained one day. The hotel was conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to go, Sea World, Fiesta Texas, the River Walk, and restaurants.”
