  • The staff was extremely friendly, and the room was much larger than we expected. We really loved the location, everything was walking distance!

“Everyone was really nice and the room was huge!”

  • Excellent hotel, very helpful staff, and nice comfy beds.
  • Valet is way over priced.

“I booked my room by picking my own price - I was very surprised at the quality of the hotel for the price I paid. They are very attentive to your needs. We had a room with 2 Queen beds and 2 bathrooms! Everything at this hotel was great - room service was good. Beds are so soft. We loved our stay - will return.”

  • It had a comfortable bed.
  • No free parking and no free internet, computers in business center slow.

“This hotel was not as nice as I wanted it to be. They charge too much for parking, but there was a 3 dollar lot near by. They had no hot water in the tub/shower and they charge daily for internet.”

  • 100 year old hotel with a marvelous lobby and public area.
  • Rooms are very small.

“We enjoyed our stay at St. Anthony's. It has a marvelous location and the staff is extremely friendly and interested in helping. The down side is that the hotel is older and has some physical plant issues.”

  • Friendly staff and beautiful lobby.

“The hotel was built in 1909 and was the perfect place to stay for a romantic getaway. The receptionist noticed that the room I was originally booked for had 2 beds, and she asked if I would prefer one King instead and also asked floor preference. Excellent service, and the lobby is furnished with lavish sofas and a huge gorgeous fireplace.”

  • It was very historic.
  • The room was very small.

“Service was excellent and hotel was very clean.”

  • Gorgeous lobby.
  • Cockroaches & heater did not work.

“ Although it's in a great location, and has a really regal & historic lobby, I'd skip staying the night. Better to take a quick stroll through and find your bed elsewhere, as cockroaches run rampant & heating and other standard amenities are unreliable. ”

  • Location was good, valet parking good, bed comfy.
  • Too old and destroyed, not a 4 or 5 star.

“Pool was not heated as mentioned on the website.”

  • Beautiful lobby. Good location.
  • Parking was expensive and small bathrooms.

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Liked the Large beds in the room but didnt like how small the bathroom was. Also liked that it was only a couple of blocks from the riverwalk.”

  • I had a bad time from the time I got there till when I left.
  • Everything was bad, and I would never stay there again.

“I had to talk to the manager of the hotel as they had bad customer service. Everything was not like I would have liked it.”

  • The hotel lobby was beautiful and the bed was really comfortable.
  • The hotel seemed poorly maintained.

“The location of the hotel is not bad. Self parking is a bit of hike, but you are within walking distance to downtown and right across the street from a park. The hotel was understaffed, but the ones working seemed friendly. The night we stayed the computer that sets up their key cards was not working, so a staff member had to let us in the room each time. Wouldn't be that bad, but since they were understaffed it would take 15-20 minutes to find somebody available. Rooms were small, which would be expected for an old hotel. However, it wasn't very clean and things were falling apart.”

  • Nothing.
  • Old (historic) small out -dated.

“The hotel was old and out-dated the staff would not meet my needs, I had to find other lodging I did not stay at this hotel.”

  • Beautiful.
  • No coffee/gift shop.

“Lovely, grand old-fashioned hotel. Interior was beautiful. Enjoyed the uniqueness of the room and bathroom. Was not like every other hotel on the market today. Staff was efficient and friendly.”

  • Room Service doing a "not on the menu" tray to use for our bottle of wine we had in our room.
  • Went to dine in the restaurant for the evening and they were closed .

“Other than our not eating in the restaurant we were very pleased.”

  • Wonderful lobby.
  • Bathroom fixtures are original, only one bedside lamp.

“The St. Anthony is a historic hotel, so the rooms are small and you can see where air conditioning and services have been added. The bedroom furniture is up to the Wyndham standards (that is excellent) but the bathroom fixtures are original. The lobby is spectacular; we were there just before Christmas and it was wonderfully decorated. We enjoyed our stay very much.”

  • Historic and old.
  • On the edge of Riverwalk district.

“Hotel was easy access on edge of Riverwalk, 1 block away from all the restaurants, we did not use valet parking, because we could save the money on $3,- per day across the park we received a 2 queen bed hotelroom, lots of history we did not use the restaurants.”

  • Nothing.
  • Too old.

“I
guess this hotel is good for old people because of of historic value. I one the other hand would have preferred to stay at a motel 6.”

  • Loved Historical building, especially lobby.
  • Ice machine reprogrammed,
machine broken on 9th floor, difficulty using phone, card keys.

“Loved comfy beds and duvet.”

  • Hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly.
  • Not a lot of room in bathroom to set your things.

“I wasn't sure what to expect from St. Anthony's, but was pleasantly surprised to find lovely, spacious rooms. We did switch rooms when we discovered our first room was next to the ice machine, and we were concerned it might be noisy. The staff found us a very quiet room away from elevators and ice machines. Even though there was not a lot of vanity space in bathrooms (yes, we had two bathrooms), the glass shelving above the pedestal sink provided some space to put your things. Our room had a desk/chair, a table and two chairs, a dresser with mirror, and armoire with 25 in. TV. Two queen beds. A nice change from the chain hotels.”

  • The lobby and the service.
  • Parking.

“The lobby was great. The rooms were a bit old fashion but this was a historic hotel. My wife's first comment was I feel like I am on the Titanic. The service was excellent and the price was good.”
