“I booked my room by picking my own price - I was very surprised at the quality of the hotel for the price I paid. They are very attentive to your needs. We had a room with 2 Queen beds and 2 bathrooms! Everything at this hotel was great - room service was good. Beds are so soft. We loved our stay - will return.”

“This hotel was not as nice as I wanted it to be. They charge too much for parking, but there was a 3 dollar lot near by. They had no hot water in the tub/shower and they charge daily for internet.”

“We enjoyed our stay at St. Anthony's. It has a marvelous location and the staff is extremely friendly and interested in helping. The down side is that the hotel is older and has some physical plant issues.”

“The hotel was built in 1909 and was the perfect place to stay for a romantic getaway. The receptionist noticed that the room I was originally booked for had 2 beds, and she asked if I would prefer one King instead and also asked floor preference. Excellent service, and the lobby is furnished with lavish sofas and a huge gorgeous fireplace.”

“ Although it's in a great location, and has a really regal & historic lobby, I'd skip staying the night. Better to take a quick stroll through and find your bed elsewhere, as cockroaches run rampant & heating and other standard amenities are unreliable. ”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Liked the Large beds in the room but didnt like how small the bathroom was. Also liked that it was only a couple of blocks from the riverwalk.”

“The location of the hotel is not bad. Self parking is a bit of hike, but you are within walking distance to downtown and right across the street from a park. The hotel was understaffed, but the ones working seemed friendly. The night we stayed the computer that sets up their key cards was not working, so a staff member had to let us in the room each time. Wouldn't be that bad, but since they were understaffed it would take 15-20 minutes to find somebody available. Rooms were small, which would be expected for an old hotel. However, it wasn't very clean and things were falling apart.”

“Lovely, grand old-fashioned hotel. Interior was beautiful. Enjoyed the uniqueness of the room and bathroom. Was not like every other hotel on the market today. Staff was efficient and friendly.”

“The St. Anthony is a historic hotel, so the rooms are small and you can see where air conditioning and services have been added. The bedroom furniture is up to the Wyndham standards (that is excellent) but the bathroom fixtures are original. The lobby is spectacular; we were there just before Christmas and it was wonderfully decorated. We enjoyed our stay very much.”

“Hotel was easy access on edge of Riverwalk, 1 block away from all the restaurants, we did not use valet parking, because we could save the money on $3,- per day across the park we received a 2 queen bed hotelroom, lots of history we did not use the restaurants.”

“I
guess this hotel is good for old people because of of historic value. I one the other hand would have preferred to stay at a motel 6.”

“I wasn't sure what to expect from St. Anthony's, but was pleasantly surprised to find lovely, spacious rooms. We did switch rooms when we discovered our first room was next to the ice machine, and we were concerned it might be noisy. The staff found us a very quiet room away from elevators and ice machines. Even though there was not a lot of vanity space in bathrooms (yes, we had two bathrooms), the glass shelving above the pedestal sink provided some space to put your things. Our room had a desk/chair, a table and two chairs, a dresser with mirror, and armoire with 25 in. TV. Two queen beds. A nice change from the chain hotels.”

“The lobby was great. The rooms were a bit old fashion but this was a historic hotel. My wife's first comment was I feel like I am on the Titanic. The service was excellent and the price was good.”
