• Great restaurant - excellent breakfast chef.
• Poor view of the River Walk.

“The initial room we were placed in was not good as we were placed in a smoking room. The hotel had a wedding in their conference room that strained the hotel staff and filled the parking garage. We were forced to park in a parking garage a block away and had to request to be reimbursed for the parking fee. The staff was mediocre, though they did pay for the parking garage they offered nothing for inconveniencing their guests.”

• Low ceilings and no vents/fans in the bathrooms. Very old.

“Ranked as a 3-star, but for no real good reason. Kind of old and the low ceilings make the rooms seem so small. It's in a good location though.”

• The entire staff from laundry to valet to management were awesome!
• Nothing to complain about at all.

• Proximity to Riverwalk was great.
• No fan in bathroom and got steamy, but this is a very minor thing.

• Charges for self parking charges were not readily available on hotel web site. Down pillows were never delivered though promised.

“Located within walking distance of all major shopping and tourist attractions. Don't rent a car to get from the airport. You won't need one. Hotel has very comfortable rooms which are maintained in brand new condition.”

• It has a great location, great staff and excellent for a weekend get away.
• Glasses were dirty and the bathroom was handicapped.

“Overall was great because of the location and service be sure to ask if the bathroom has a tub. The restaurant is good and the staff is very friendly.”

• Under construction in a major way.

“The view! Loved this place for the cost. The 19th floor balcony looked over beautiful sculpture modern metal thing, architectural buildings including only still working church on River walk. Of course the homeless lived there while open, glad the church really cares. Tons of homeless and everywhere were help wanted signs so not sure I get that part.”

“I enjoyed the room because of the close proximity to lots of attractions and parking and taking two different elevators each time you needed to get from room to parking garage were minor headaches.”

• The main thing was the location. Location it was very nice to step and you're in the middle of everything. Kids enjoyed pool.
• Nothing was wrong with it. Everything was nice.

“I would definitely take the kids back to the hotel. It was right in the middle of everything and you don't have to take your car anywhere. The trolley goes right by the hotel to take you to the market and other nearby places. It was a very nice experience. As a single mom with two kids. I really got my money worth. Thanks a lot.”

• I liked its cheery entrance and easily available coffee and snacks at the entrance.
• The rooms are small and space for additional suitcases was limited.

“We woke up to a flooded bathroom, entry, and closet at 6:30am and everything that was on the floor was soaked and had to be evacuated and dried to the deck area. We, of course, were asked to move to another room which was very inconvenient since we had hoped to finally sleep in a bit, and then had family brunch to attend and plans for the day. They told us that had we booked directly with the holiday inn they would have given us a "free stay," but because it was booked through a 3rd party, it was not possible to do anything to adjust the room rate.”
