• Location.
• Bathroom light and door broken.

“Hotel was OK and clean. The staff was responsive. The light bulb in a lamp between the beds was missing and I had to go to the front desk to get one and put it into the lamp. The bathroom light was broken and the door to the toilet/bathtub was warped and could not be closed.”

• Seeing it in my rearview mirror as I left.
• Everything.

“To whom it may concern: This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I could see the cement between the living area and bathroom area as there was about a 6 inch space between the two carpets. The front door didn't even have a threshold so you could see outside. About a 3 inch gap was present, I had to put a towel down in front of the door to keep the heat out or cold in. There were no towels in the room when I checked in I had to go ask the front desk for towels. I also was asked 2 or 3 times by homeless people walking around for money. I was trapped into staying there. I was very disappointed.”

• Had ice.
• No A/C, dirty, no clock, sheets were not clean, etc.

“We walked in and the A/C was not on and it took 4 hours for the room to cool down and until morning to be comfortable. The sheets/pillow cases had not been changed. The bathroom had dirt on the floor and the commode was dirty. The knob on the shower came off while using it. There was no alarm clock in the room. We will not stay in this hotel again.”

• The only thing I like about this hotel is that it had two exits, so I could get the heck out of there fast.
• I did not like that it was old, in a crime zone, questionable people surrounding hotel, trolley was closed by nine, overall hated it.

• Convenient, clean, room well equipped and well taken care of by cleaning staff.
• Proximity to freeway ground and elevated sections; however, noise not a problem.

• Conveniently located near downtown S.A. Free apples & oranges at office.

“Located close to "Market Square" with two restaurants nearby. We found it easy to navigate around the city from where we were staying. The room was decent and the staff though not real friendly were alright.”

• The restaurant behind the hotel was good.
• Where should I start? It was horrible.

“This hotel looks like something really appealing in the pictures, but its not! The staff was not friendly. When it was time to check in the rooms werent even clean.”

• Deceiving pix on internet.

“The hotel was not very easy to find from downtown SA. The lobby is antique with no breakfast area space at all. The cleaning crew was loud early in the AM and not very friendly. The location of the hotel is just not very quiet at all. 'The rooms smell bad.”

• Picture on line looked better than hotel. Location not good, room to small, parking area too small.

“I doubt that I will ever stay at this hotel again. The staff were great but this is an old hotel in a not so good part of town. Do not eat at the Luby's across the street.”

• The staff seemed to be friendly.
• Hotel was dirty, dingy, and bad neighborhood.

“It was located in a bad neighborhood. The bathroom was dirty, mold/soap scum on the tile. Room was not well ventilated, did not seem like it had been stayed in for a while. The staff was not overly helpful and were not very intelligent. The cafe they recommended next door was NOT good, despite what the hotel staff told you. Very greasy and dirty.”

• The staff was friendly and quick to customer needs.
• Rooms were not ready when we arrived and it was after 4pm.

“The hotel had a great location very close to the river walk and Downtown. Rooms had a microwave and fridge that made it convenient, the only complain is that the two rooms I reserved were not cleaned and ready and it was after 4pm when we arrived.”

• Absolutely everything. I can get a better hotel for less money in Chicago.

“The roadway was a horrible experience. The shower was never at a warm temperature. The beds were lumpier than mashed potatoes. The hotel staff was ignorant and inconsiderate. By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I completely regret my stay at the roadway!”

• The wake up call.
• I waited to check in the lobby with 15 or more people for over an hour and never received any comp for it and barely an apology, worse I have ever.

“The wait to register in the lobby on a Friday afternoon was the longest wait over an hour that i have ever been apart of.”
