• Easy access to Riverwalk and friendly staff.
• The hotel parking was very difficult for larger vehicles. Very difficult to maneuver.

“This is a very pleasant, clean hotel with friendly and knowlegeble staff. Close to all amenities. Hotel parking is not friendly to larger vehicles; very difficult to navigate, very sharp turns with no turn arounds in parking areas.”

• Very comforting and beautiful artwork.
• The surprise parking lot cost at the end of the stay.

“Everything was great during our stay. I did not agree with the price on parking due to the fact we did not know there was a price for parking in their garage. They did not tell us that until checkout.”

• Close to Riverwalk but not on busy part of river.
• Parking is minimal.

“Nice for short stay with quick visits to Riverwalk. Close to Alamo and other attractions i.e.. seaworld, coliseum, museums.”

• Available parking garage, close to Riverwalk & convention center, recently renovated rooms.
• Double beds - queen would be better. Cost of parking.

“I enjoyed my stay at the Riverwalk Plaza Hotel in San Antonio. It was reasonably prices with easy access to the Riverwalk. Parking was great though not cheap (although by SA standards probably not too bad - free would have been better). Rooms were recently renovated. I would stay there again.”

• The new rooms, bath tiles and shower.
• Garage and outside of hotel looks old and dirty.

“Because of the maid taking our shampoo, loofah, body wash and two other toiletries, I will not recommend this hotel to family and friends. I have never stayed anywhere that the new maid thought we had checked out (5 suitcases still in room) and took our toiletries. Re training is recommended here. The management however was not rude and I was able to recover two items.”

• Rooms and common areas were very nice and clean.

“The hotel was much more than we expected. We had covered parking and felt safe in the hotel. We had a view of downtown and the Riverwalk was easily accessible. The common areas were well kept and clean and the pool area was quite nice and relaxing.”

• Very convenient to the River walk.
• Older hotel has updates,but should use more updates.

“The hotel was a little pricey, but very convenient to the local entertainment. Everything was in walking distance. The room smelled old. Could use a fresh coat of paint. Overall we liked our stay and might stay again.”

“Great location friendly service, however I was not happy with the additional $12+tax per night charges for parking in the hotel's own lot.”

• The view out the window.
• Hotel was dirty in the hall ways.

“Didn't offer to help us with our bags upon checking. Hit with additional hotel fees and parking fees upon checking. Description of hotel was inaccurate. Will not stay there again.”

• Very clean. Remodeling nicely done.
• No bar/lounge. Not very convenient to major Riverwalk attractions. They were all at the opposite end of the Riverwalk.

“Traveling was my mother, my sister and I. One of the "main" features we were looking for a hotel with a bar/lounge for relaxing after a day site seeing.”

• Location is good.
• Remodeling. Some noise. Rooms not quite finished.

“It should be nice once finished. Sheetrock dust on some flat surfaces. One bathroom fan walled up, could hear it running but no wall vent to draw through. One room had bad odor, likely due to recent renovation.”

“There is remodeling going on at the hotel and major street improvements being constructed around the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room, while small was comfortable.”

• We were treated well by the hotel staff.
• The hotel is located at the far end of the river walk.

“The hotel was very nice, considering it was not one of the larger hotels located on the river walk. I would stay there again. The only problem we encountered, was the TV which had a bad picture.”

• Staff especially cleaning staff are very customer oriented.
• Parking facilities are very poor. The ramp pauses danger.

• This hotel was more than I expected. Clean and comfortable. I would recommend to others.
• The shower was unpredictable. Did not stay a constant temperature.

“Once we arrived at the Riverwalk Plaza Hotel, I was very, very pleased. This hotel is located on the Riverwalk, within walking distance to many great restaurants and night spots. Very clean and comfortable. I would recommend to friends and family.”

• It was centrally located, safe and gorgeous, helpful staff went out of their way to accommodate us.

“We had a great stay. We had easy, walkable access to wonderful restaurants, and many night spots, not to mention the River Walk right outside. We felt very safe in and out of the hotel. Highly recommended.”
