• Bus service to downtown just outside the hotel.
• At this time of year there was no good eating places close by except Mexican across the road.

“A loud 24 hour Mexican bar and restaurant on the other side of the street, okay for one night but not a week. The hotel its self was quiet. The breakfast at the hotel was good.”

• The hotel was in an excellent location to much entertainment and walking distance to many more. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy.
• The breakfast was not the very best, could add more fruit and bigger area.

“The price was great to start of with, the hotel was located across Market Square with had much entertainment and we were walking distances to many more places. The hotel room was clean and the beds were comfy, we slept great. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The only thing I think would help is that I'd wish they had a better breakfast. They offered eggs which needed to be cooked in the microwave , sugar flakes cereal, waffles, bananas and chocolate/blueberry muffins, but I guess for the level of hotel I should expect a deluxe breakfast. I would stay there again, probably have breakfast at restaurant across the street next time.”

• Has been redone and is clean and convienient location; contenital breakfast was wonderful benefit.
• Says provided fast internet and it was slower than dialup.

“We would stay here again. It is right next to areas of interest and close to the trolley. Easy walking distance if need be. We liked the recent renovations; it helped the overall cleanliness impact. The breakfast and variety available is a great benefit. Helps really cut down on touring cost for the day. Overall, great stay.”

• Worst looking, didn't feel safe.

“The staff was good and the breakfast was good. I just felt that the rooms were that of a cheap motel. Parking also was an issue.”

• The hotel is not so close to the attraction areas, no security.

• Belgian waffles for breakfast.
• Receptionist that checked us in.

“We asked for a hotel on the River walk so that we could be close to the convention center for the SBC convention. Also we were put in a room designed for the handicapped. This was to be a combined business/pleasure trip for us as a married couple so the hotel was a true disappointment.”

• Just a 10 minute walk from the river walk.
• Not the most comfortable or attractive hotel. Location was a little sketchy.

• The front desk staff was very nice, making coffee in the evening.
• Bathroom was quite dirty, behind toilet and baseboards¿

“The front desk staff was very helpful and attentive. The pool was clean and nicely located. Opposite the hotel were a couple of Mexican restaurants and the market square was fun to walk around. This hotel was a good place to be, easy (10 minute or so) walk to the Alamo and river walk. We have four children and they enjoyed the stay also. Would definitely stay there again.”

• The location near Market Square was wonderful.
• The floors in the rooms are the filthiest I have ever seen.

“This hotel has possibilities but they need better maintenance. We had problems with the smoke detector in our room, and they had no one on staff to come fix it. We had to fix it ourselves, and we still had trouble with it in the middle of the night. The other problem is the floors. You get out of the shower and walk to get dressed and then your feet are black. I am not kidding. The carpet is filthy.”

• The location was great, good place to lay your head down for the night.
• They had no cribs even though it was listed in the amenities.

“My stay was pleasant. They were able to move us to a two bed instead of a king room when we were told they had no cribs. There was security in the parking lot, that kept us feeling safe. We were right across from the market square so there was always something to do.”

• Near the court house, and near a good Mexican restaurant.
• Poor room service, discussing and poor breakfast included.

• Great location and friendly staff.
• It could have been cleaner. The carpets were dirty and the birds were very loud.

“This hotel is in a great location. We took the trolley to the River walk and Alamo and walked to Market Square. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. The floors were dirty and the birds in the parking lot were very loud. Overall we had a nice stay and will stay there again.”
