• I felt very safe, the room was clean, and housekeeping staff was very friendly.
• The front desk staff was not too friendly nor showed a willingness to help.

“This was the perfect place to stay for a short vacation! Clean rooms, conveniently located vending machines, and close to the Riverwalk. Would've liked complimentary breakfast for the price though.”

• Staff very helpful and professional. Room was immaculate and very attractive. Everything you would hope for.
• Breakfast not included and the adjoining restaurant is acceptable but not extraordinary. More flash than substance.

“Hotel was most certainly a 4 star with an exceptional staff. I restaurant adjoining was acceptable but forgettable. I would determinately recommend making use of the shuttle and taking in more culture in the city for your meals. Overall an excellent hotel. I should mention it is a little over a mile from the riverwalk but they do offer a shuttle for those that are not going to make a late night of it.”

• The pool was great, clean rooms.
• Said it had a gift shop and convenience store, it had about 3 items. Very miss leading.

• No towels at pool, asked repeatedly.

“Nice hotel for downtown San Antonio. Would stay again. Do not park under the trees, unless you want to wash bird droppings from your entire car.”

• The beds were comfortable.
• It was wet inside my room.

“It was raining outside and the hotel does not have enough ventilation so everything was damp, including my clothes by the second day. Like camping in the rain. Otherwise it was a nice hotel. The food was good, not over priced. I would stay there again, but only if it's dry out.”

“I read the reviews before we stayed in the hotel and I knew there would be the possibility of having a bad experience. The room was very nice and everything worked. Cable TV, toilet, room lights and friendly, helpful staff. Great stay for the price!”

“the hotel bed was very comfortable, as was the room. it had a home feel. I did not like the food ads been left under the door. we tried a place they were horrible! the hotel apologized but said they didn't endorse;the folks sneak in.”

• did not try to accomodate me the 2nd night after missing first night did rent a condo in S. Padre Island

“went there on business booked room went to S Padre Island came back thinking I had booked room for 2 nights my mistake did for 1 night,but they could have worked with me on the 2nd night stay but refused to do so and charged me for the first night. I was willing to pay for the second night at the rate I paid for the 1st night.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful. They provided a shuttle service for you.
• Had constant problems with house keeping. They didn't answer phone. Had to make a request extra blanket 4 times in 4 hours. No fresh face towel.

“The hotel itself was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It wasn't as close to the Riverwalk as I would have liked, but they provided a shuttle service that took you where ever you needed to go. Housekeeping was very slow about bringing things to our room and after cleanup on the first night they didn't even replace the face towels. I had to call and request some. I would have ordered but I couldn't find a menu.”

• It was very nice! Our room was big!
• If I had to say something it would be that there were no ice machines on the 3rd floor.

• no refrigerator in the rooms could only request upon arrival and never got one all rented out..nor did anyone update me if i would rec'v one or not...

• Kids eat free and free shuttle nice drivers.

“My spouse, 3 young sons and I had a great time. Front desk help was very nice and friendly. Same for shuttle drivers and restaurant staff. The kids eat free deal wax amazing! An $11 buffet for small kids at no cost. Huge savings.”

• The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful.
• There were trash sacks left in the halls by the cleaning crew.

“It was a short walk to market square and had a nice big pool. The front desk staff was so helpful and willing to do try to help in any way possible. A fridge wasn't in the room, but they brought one up after a call-free of charge. It's a nice short walk to Market Square and I felt very safe at all times.”
