  • It was all negative.

“Where can I start when it comes to reviewing this hotel. First, the unannounced $75.00 pet deposit. If I knew this, then I would have ran from this dump. Second, what hotel charges for HS internet. Apparently this one does. Had to complain to front desk about that one. Manager also told me that the fee was for extra cleaning and deodorizing after the animal left. This place was an absolute joke, and I do recommend that anyone with a pet, to avoid this hotel all together. The staff was unprofessional. I guess that have to gouge guests in order to pay for Paris Hilton's job.”

  • Great deal on room with Priceline, but $15.00 for parking my own vehicle!

“This Hilton is not what I expected at all. I have stayed at Hilton's before, and this one was not nearly as nice at all. It was muggy and hot inside the hotel hallways, and rooms, and it smelled moldy and muggy too! Charging $15.00 to park my own vehicle, is outrageous. Would have much rather stayed at the doubletree next door or another hotel that still does not charge for parking your own vehicle. Valet parking was more than that. Probably wont stay at another Hilton again!”

  • I'm handicapped and the bath room was very small.

  • Good bedding, inviting atmosphere.
  • Couldn't reserve non-smoking room, parking arrrangement.

“Upon arriving there was no place to park and check in. After parking in the garage, I was informed that it would be a $10 per day charge to my stay. I was not pleased that I could not get a non-smoking room, but the hotel staff was willing to use a cleaner. However, that does not keep surrounding rooms' smoke to seep into another room.”

  • I didn't like the service that was shown during check in, and the rooms were extremely small!

“I would never stay at this hotel again in my lifetime. The service was the worst that I've gotten from a 3 star or higher hotel. It was definitely not worth my money and time. It was also the smallest hotel room that I've stayed in as long that I can remember and with a full size single bed, come on! I thought no hotels had that size of a bed in a room anymore. Overall, if you can, avoid by all means staying at this hotel!”

  • Charged for parking and Internet. No microwave or refrigerator. A/C didn't work.

“With a recognizable hotel chain like Hilton you would expect a few things. A microwave, a refrigerator and a working A/C. This hotel room had none of these. I made three complaints in four days. They charge for parking and Internet access. Try to stay at the Hyatt Place. It's less than a mile away. Free parking, free Internet access, free continental breakfast, and a larger room, same price. Much better value.”

  • The room was clean.
  • The lobby was hot and have to pay for parking.

“The hotel is OK if you are flying in but if you drove in the hotel is not for you. I had to spend $20 to park there for the two nights and the
AC unit did not keep the room cool.”

  • The valet was very nice and wanted to buy us breakfast, we did not accept his kindness. They should make him manager.
  • Rude front desk people, loud party music from cars below our room.

“First of all the front desk people are rude and unfriendly. Loud music at night below our room. No one did anything about the noise. Made us feel bad. We asked to speak to manager they said none is around for that. Valet manager was very nice they should make him manager. Very kind, wanted to buy us breakfast for our experience. Very nice we could not accept.”

  • It was fairly clean.
  • The expensive parking, no free parking.

“Until 11:00 pm kids were running down the halls and constantly using the elevators, had to go to 3 different floors to find an ice maker that worked (the lady on the phone asked me to call her when I find one so she would know). Had to pay for parking but the gate was not working and I drove in and out without the gate rising or closing, when people above are finishing taking a bath and release the water it sounded as if the water was coming down the walls and into the room. It was loud enough to wake-up me and my wife.”

“The staff was great from the Valet Staff to the housekeeping staff! If I'm ever in San Antonio again. I'll be staying there! I got my best tips on where to go and what to visit from a hotel security guard at 0100 on the day I checked in! The staff was so good that I chronically over tipped if there is such a thing! Best of all, my son had a blast!”
