“My wife and I will not stay there again, I have never seen a Ramada Inn, so poorly kept and in a rundown state. Hotel was not as close as stated to Downtown river walk or the Merado as stated in there hotel summary. The neighborhood was in a dangerous part of town. Then the last night we got locked our of our room because of the electronic door lock had to be put in the next room for 3 or 4 hours while we waited for some help to get our luggage out because we had to get up at 2:00am to get on a flight at Austin Texas Airport. We stayed four nights, we love San Antonio this was our 3rd trip.”

“We were given a room when we arrived at 10pm that had the right bathroom water fixer missing so we could not take a shower. When moved to another room we informed the staff the restroom smelled like urine. We endured the smell for a whole week.”

“Not the nicest to look at but the ease of the location is a plus. Why are hotels so expensive?”

“First: the deadbolt on our door was broken. The door had been previously broken into & not repaired. Second: The sheets had stains. Third: There were air conditioners (poss a dozen or so) stacked outside in the walkways and hallways in an assortment of disrepair. FOURTH: This was a MOTEL not a Hotel like I thought I asked for. But that could have been my mistake. Also, Im pretty sure I asked for River Walk but this was in downtown. 2 rooms (which we got) but I wanted 2 double beds, we got 1 king in each room.”

“The hotel was not at the Riverwalk. Did not have enough parking and was in a scary part of town. I have traveled a lot so this was the worst Ramada that I have ever stayed in-for this price there was no fridge, no microwave, no safety mat in tub.”

“This motel is located along the freeway frontage. There were security cameras everywhere. When I went to check in the clerk was on a personal call. She checked me in without breaking her conversation. We were placed in a room in the middle of the second floor of the center building. The motel parking lot had three other cars in it. The room was not close to any stairways (outside entrance rooms). The room itself was small and dirty. After entering the room my wife and I decided that we would not stay there for the night, so we drove back to Austin after our daughter's event. Stay away from this motel. Would hate to see what a 1 star hotel looks like! The survey forced me to rate it as a 1 star, however it really should be down in the negatives.”

“For the cost this hotel wasn't worth 20% of what I paid. There were stains on the carpet, lampshades, towels, and walls. The room smelled musty since the air conditioning hadn't been on in a while and the bathroom was equally unpleasant. We would have left immediately after seeing the room had it not been for unavailability elsewhere in town. Ramada's are supposed to have a good reputation but this stay guaranteed that I will never stay in another Ramada unless recommended by a close friend. There are plenty of other hotels in the vicinity of this one so try your luck with one of those.”

“Please don't go. You'd rather sleep in your car! The worst hotel experience ever! You wouldn't believe the smell of the room. The bathroom was even worst.”

“This hotel was clean (although trash in lobby should have been emptied more often) and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable.”

“For a quick nights stay in/near Downtown San Antonio, it is nice for the price. I would not want to spend a week there with my family.”

“The Hotel is OK for its rating. The staff would not give us a room on the 1st floor even though they were readily available.”

“Staff check me into a smoking room and refused to change and stated we sold out. Actually, at that night there are a lot of empty parking spaces. It is located in a deserted area in Downtown. Breakfast run out before 830. But it stated 600-1000. Room was dirty, smelly and TV remote did not work either. I will never return to this hotel.”

“The room was big and comfortable and inexpensive but the tub and the coffee pot were dirty. We killed two roaches while we were there. We needed the sofa bed made down but they did not have any extra blankets or pillows. Only sheets. The continental breakfast was terrible and practically gone at 8:00 AM and the manager on duty at that time was so incredibly RUDE it was embarrassing! We were gone most of the time during our two night stay. Only there to sleep and get ready so it was okay. The roaches really freaked me out though that was really nasty.”
