• No van or car service, no pick-up from airport or bus station.

• I liked that the hotel was located a short drive to Sheppard AFB.
• It did not feel very clean. It was fine for me, but it felt a little dirty for my 2 year old child who does not know what not to touch.

• Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Location easily accessible.
• Old plumbing and the pool outside. Not enough parking spaces.

“Older room and the plumbing wasn't up to scale. The rooms and the parking spaces wasn't one on one. Parked to far from room. The pool wasn't very clean. The mattress was nasty and old.”

• Nothing poor class for 2 star.
• Just bump for a 2 star more like a half star.

“Terrible hotel for the money it was not worth the stay. I never ever want to stay here again. I wanted a 2 star and got a half star. Bad hotel you really need to investigate this hotel.”

• Room was roomy, very clean, and smelled nice.
• Limited parking near stairs.

“We were very pleasantly surprised at the roominess and cleanliness of our room for such a great rate. We were there for a softball tournament and had several friends over who also commented on how nice the room was. We were very pleased.”

• A/C broken. Not told they were renovating.

“We arrived at the pool and got paint on our clothes from the renovations in progress. We contacted the staff and they were willing to compensate us. Our AC did not work.”

• It was super clean and the night staff was very friendly.
• It was under construction and we were not told. Kind of noisy.

“I had read some negative reviews about the cleanliness after my room offer was accepted and was somewhat nervous. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the room spotless and very well maintained.”

• Easy on/easy off main road.
• Traffic seemed noisy.

“Beds were comfortable & room very clean; eateries were in easy walking distance, easily accessible from main interstate. Continental breakfast was more than ample.”

• Hotel staff was friendly.
• Smelled musty, the pool was not clean, and half the channels on the TV were fuzzy.

“Was unable to go swimming because they kept the pool covered the first couple of days and when they did remove the cover they left it unclean. Room smelled of mold and didn't have a mini fridge. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Good location, just right off the freeway and surrounded by restaurants. But I will not be staying again.”

• Old. Outdated. Unsafe appearance.

“For one night it's not a bad stay. I've stayed in worse. For a La Quinta, it didn't really meet my expectations. Beds are small and low to the ground. Bathroom had dirt and hair in the corners. Room was old and outdated.”

• It was a place to sleep.
• Not enough peace and quiet even when I asked the night manager to please let the room next to me that they were being too loud.

“I thought that the people next to me were going to come thru the wall they were being so loud and banging on the wall I didnt get enough sleep at all and I hated this stay.”

• Staff was not friendly; room had no curtains, just sheers on an outside room.

“We were told we could not get a queen or king bed. The window had sheers and not curtains. You could see in the room at night. The night before, we stayed at a Best Western right next door the night before which was great. We thought we were just going to be there one night. Should have booked that same room at Best Western.”
