• The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
• You need to bring your own soap and shampoo if there is more than one person.

“This is a great hotel overall. The room was clean, the area is quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The location is about 15 minutes from the river walk. I would stay at this hotel again. I think it is a good value.”

“Although the hotel was nice, the front lobby personnel didn't seem to eager to assist visitors. Our room specifically appeared to have not had clean sheets.”

• Convenient to major roads & restaurants.
• Found a huge live roach in the room - went behind desk and couldn't flush it out to kill it.

“Good hotel and would stay there again. Will avoid courtyard room as the sliding patio door may have contributed to the large roach. Need stronger fan in bathroom - got very steamy.”

“Very good value for the money. Check your hotel bill carefully. We had charges for 2 movies we never saw. The staff was very accommodating in removing the charges when brought to their attention.”

• The room was clean, and I liked the decor of the hotel. It was bright, but drapes afforded privacy. The staff was friendly. I'd recommend.

“It was relatively close to Sea World, but a pretty long distance from the Riverwalk/Alamo/downtown area. The rooms were nice, bright, and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.”

• Some staff was not helpful. They were just there.

“Hotel is clean, comfortable and does its job. Nothing outstanding, nor nothing underperforming. Some of the staff was very helpful, while others were simply there.”

• I was very surprised and delighted with the hotel and the wonderful staff.
• I did not like the lighting in the parking lot.

“I was delighted with the hotel room, the staff was wonderful. The reception area was beautiful. The room was romantic overlooking a gazebo, pool and a covered Jacuzzi. The view was beautiful. The memory will be forever in my mind.”

• Hotel didn't respond to my claims of my stolen clothes.

“They didn't clean the rooms well, 2 days we have to call the front desk because they didn't put toilet paper in a 2 & half star hotel. The last day when I was packing I notice that some new clothes weren't in my luggage & look all over & next day early in the morning talk with the manager, & she only said I'm sorry, fill out a report, & let us do an investigation. That was not the answer I was expecting, they should take care & pay my new clothes. It has been passed 5 days after my stay & they haven't contact me. It's not safety staying in a hotel were they are going to steal things from your luggage.”

• The room/hotel were very clean and well kept.
• The hotel staff complained about travelers at the front desk where anyone could overhear it.

“The room and pool were very clean. The hotel staff was very knowledgeable about the area and did not mind answering phone calls about directions from us when we became lost in the area. Our overall stay was excellent and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area.”

• King bed and let out couch.
• Not as comfortable as I would have liked.

“Good for a 2.5 star hotel, but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with amenities keep looking. I would not take my family there.”

• Whirlpool was extremely hot. Had to get out after 15 minutes.

• Big room, well designed bath area.
• The bathroom extraction device did not work.

“Although little outside the city downtown area it was well worth our money. Plenty of fast foods and restaurants close by. Easy access to major highways. Quite and kid tolerant. Friendly staff. Clean rooms, bathrooms and a safe area.”

• Extra comfy beds.
• Upon arrival it appeared someone had just left the room & left it untidy, dirty glasses, used towels, trash not emptied. beds messed up etc.

• Wonderful distance from our intended destination.
• Sliding glass door did not open easily and no hot water in bathroom sink.

“Great place to stay for a quick visit. Far enough away from busy highway that we did not hear the traffic much at all. Had a couple of problems with items not working in room - but staff was very quick to rectify the situation. I would stay here again.”
