• Everyone at the hotel was friendly and extremely helpful.
• There was nothing we did not like about the hotel.

“If you are attending a Lackland basic graduation this is place to stay. It was unbelievably close to the base and all hotel staff was fantastic. The rooms were super clean and the breakfast was a great start to our day. I would highly recommend staying here!”

• I thought the people were very friendly, enjoyed the breakfast.
• The water draining was very slow in the bath tub and had to flush several times.

“A very good location we went to Sea World and ate at some really nice restaurants nearby, also its wasn't far to Wal-Mart.”

• Nothing.
• The bathroom was horrible. It was filthy. I complained along with countless other customers. It was an outside load.

“This hotel was the most filthy, nasty, and unsanitary hotel I've stayed in. The bath tub was filled with grime and dirt. The room had an terrible scent. Simple disgusting!”

• The waffles were great!
• I did not feel like it was in a very "safe" neighborhood.

“This hotel was right off the highway, easily accessible, however, the only thing on that side of the highway was a bar located right in front of it. It did not seem to be located in a very "safe" part of town. The waffles at breakfast were great and the rooms were clean.”

• Absolutely nothing!
• My toddler's feet were black from walking on the carpet after 30 minutes in the room!

“The staff was completely rude and treated us horrible. Second, the air-conditioning filters were covered in dirt! My child's feet were black from walking on the carpet, there were "hairs" all in the bed and in the shower. The hotel manager knocked on our door about 30 minutes after checking in. Apparently, our daughter had taken the phone off of the hook while it was connected to the front desk. I had placed the "Do not disturb" sign on the door. The manager along with cleaning staff arrived at our door asking if we would like to change rooms. Not wanting to make a scene at that point and not wanting to be bothered by anyone after a long drive, he informed us that he and his staff had been listening to our conversation for 20 minutes. Why he simply did not disconnect on his end was completely unprofessional and rude. I have never, in my life, been so mortified! Upon checkout, they could not even provide us with a receipt!”

• The convenience to the military base, and shopping.
• The picture on the Internet showing the hotel was completely different than what the hotel looked like.

• It was adequate for the 5 days we were staying and it is very close to Lackland AFB, TX.
• There were 8 construction workers staying at the hotel in surrounding rooms, drinking very heavily outside the rooms in plain sight of other visitors.

“This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel in the past 3 months. We were attending our son's then our daughter's BMT graduation at Lackland AFB. The hotel has been freshly remodeled; the rooms were clean and adequate for a 5 night stay. It also boarders Lackland AFB and is less than 5 minutes away from the base and approximately 15 minutes from Downtown San Antonio. They have a decent continental breakfast every morning at 6am. And if you want something a little better, there is a Denny's right across the highway. I would recommend anyone visiting their loved ones for graduation ceremonies at Lackland AFB to stay here.”

• Convenient location; expanded continental breakfast; AC worked.
• Shabby tub; dirty room floor: Toddlers feet black after walking barefoot; lower level ice machine broken.

“This hotel is what you would expect for a 2-star. It had an attractive lobby but somewhat dated rooms. The tub was particularly shabby and stained. The floor looked clean but my toddlers feet were black after walking barefoot! The bed was comfy and the room had a closet. The breakfast was very nice for a 2-star: waffles, yogurt, boiled eggs, plus all the usual items. The location was great--- about 3 miles from Downtown and 6 miles from SeaWorld.”

• The location was close to where I had to do business.
• The TV. Signal was messed up and after telling the front desk clerk, it wasn't fixed by the next night.

“I would stay there again, although I don't think I would call this a 2 star hotel. It served my purpose of a place to sleep while away on business.”

• It's about 5 minutes from the gate at Lackland AFB. Was excellent for getting to and from the base.
• Not the luxuries of hotels, but it were the most convenient for getting to our daughters but graduation and other activities on-base.

“I'd stay there again, but would recommend getting the suite like we did if you're going to be staying for any length of time. It's about $20 extra/ night, but well worth the extra room with the living area.”
