• The desk staff was very sorry with my report of a dirty room.
• Hair in the bathroom, countertop, very dirty edges of the carpet.

• Good service and continental breakfast.
• Completely not soundproof, poorly functioning appliances (TV, alarm, etc).

“This hotel is more than adequate if you just need a place to spend the night. It's close to the interstate, a Wal-mart, and restaurants, and is clean, so it works if you are just passing through. Just don't expect anything fancy and if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs.”

“We almost lost our room. Thankfully they had a desk clerk at 11 pm at night that was on the ball. The room was nice, and while we were on the end of the building closest to the interstate, we didn't hear any noise from vehicles.”

“The only redeeming thing there was the staff! When we got into the room it was small and cramped. The mirror was so dirty I had to clean it myself. There was long dark hair in the sink. There were old bobby pins on the floor. Wish I had stayed at the Super 8 in Russell as I normally do.”

• The free breakfast and free Wi-Fi.
• No issues.

“Very nice motel near I-70. Traffic noise was not a problem from the interstate, but several loud bikes throughout the night were cruising the main strip which kept me up. The motel was very nice though. Staff was friendly and helpful, while the amenities were a little more than I expected. Very close to good eating establishments as well.”

• Too much truck noise from interstate!

“At this hotel I either had a choice of room with truck noise or a smoking room. As I am allergic to smoke I had to take the truck noise. This meant I got about 4 hours of sleep all night!”

• The breakfast and the lady in charge were both excellent.
• All outside entrances. You had to drive around to the front lobby and find a place to park for breakfast.

“This hotel has only outside entrances making it close to unload your car, but in bad weather we had to drive around and find parking in order to go to free breakfast. Most of the lot was covered in ice so walking wasn't safe. This motel is obviously undergoing remodeling, but I honestly couldn't tell if my room was "old" or "new". No swimming pool! Big bummer for the kids! Rooms were small.”

“Conveniently located just off I70 in Hays, KS this hotel offers a good continental breakfast and clean rooms at a no frills price. I will stay here again.”

• Loved the beds and friendly staff throughout the hotel.
• Did not have pool.

“We arrived and was very tired and it was very late. The desk clerk was a breathe of fresh air. I would definitely stay here again. The staff in the morning throughout the whole hotel was very polite and cheerful.”

• The location was good bad the breakfast was good.
• The worst part about this motel was its cleanliness. The bathroom was not clean at all with any towels. It was like they forgot to clean the bathroom.

“For this motel it was definitely over priced. Unclean room with no towels. Very disappointed. Had to walk around to the front of the motel in the cold to get the towels. The curtains did not close all the way.”
