• Bedding.
• Bathroom wall needed repair. Hair in tub.

“It's OK. I would not be happy if I paid their full price. This hotel is older and is better than a motel 6 but shouldn't be rated the same as the newer hotels that surround it.”

• Nothing.
• Understaffed, unfriendly, dirty, and broken water pipes.

“The room we got had a wet feel to it, came to find a water leak a little later in the roof, got moved to another room that the door wouldn't shut correctly, and the safety lock was broken off the door. Floors were trashed, and dirty everywhere. Smelled of chlorine and mold. While in line during check in and later during checkout several other people staying here or trying to check were complaining about the service.”

• Close to getting back on the road.
• Dated, mold in bathroom, loose entry door.

“The people were nice. The location and facility has had its' day. Had I not been traveling alone, I would have gone elsewhere.”

• Good breakfast food choices.
• Poor breakfast room service. Things ran out, and no one was around.

“Good family hotel. Nice, but not so nice that you are worried about kids messing it up. Needs to work on weekday breakfast service. Otherwise, friendly and attentive staff.”

• Not one thing!
• I did not like the filthy rooms, the filthy hall, the filthy lobby or the filthy breakfast.

“This place is a dump, it should be closed down. The 1st room they gave us had stained carpet with a ball of pet or was it human hair, dog food on the floor, stained sheets, coins in the bathroom and sticky rings on all hard surfaces, the 2nd room was Smokey, didn't even turn on the light, the 3rd room had stained carpet, clogged bathtub, dirty mirror, and again rings on the hard surfaces, the breakfast had something hot, my husband thinks pancakes I think it was eggs. We chose not to dine. Again the lobby and halls were filthy.”

• Location.
• Very noisy.

“Clerk at from desk first put us in a room next to a wedding dance when other rooms were available. Then, we were placed in a room where towels were left in the room from another guest stay. Clerk seemed oblivious to guest needs. I seldom complain but am close to abandoning getting the Priceline rooms that motels/hotels save for us tightwads.”

• The staff was very courteous and the room was clean.
• The noise from the pool was a little extreme toward the later hours of the evening.

“We requested a room by the pool so we could have the sliding door view of the pool area. We ended up with a room near the pool without a sliding door, so we got all the noise and none of the view. However, the room was clean, comfortable, and the service was great, so I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

• The pool slide for our son, being able to bring our pet, the convenience of location to our event.
• We were locked out of our room constantly; once because we owed a $20 pet fee we didn't even know about.

“The hotel itself was perfect. Great location, very nice room, very inviting swimming pool with an awesome pool slide, great parking. We were just disappointed in being locked out of our room constantly for whatever reason other than once, when they set our door to not unlock until we paid a pet deposit they never asked for even when checking in and we told them we had a dog.”

• I like the pool and slide.
• The hot tub wasn't working.

“Altogether this was a nice hotel with a great pool for kids. I wish I would have known that the hot tub wasn't working and that the pool would have been warmer. It was very cold by the pool.”

“The kids facilities were good but the quality of the room was sub standard. We were not allowed to have food in the lounge area at all.”

• Staff was accomodating when we had to stay over due to storm.
• Outer hallways were not clean/well kept.

“Room and bed were clean & comfortable. Staff was courteous and helpful. Lounge had good food and service was excellent. Rear entrances and outer hallway was not clean or in good repair, but rooms and common areas were fine. Hot tub was not very warm.”

• The room was relatively free of disturbing smells.
• There was no breakfast provided.

“The entrance to our hotel room was supposed to be up a set of stairs. When we reached our staircase, it was blocked with a rope. We then had to find our way into the hotel through a back door. It was dark and difficult to find our way in. Late at night this was not comfortable.”

• The bathroom was outdated and dirty. The air conditioner broke in the middle of the night.

• The price.
• My room didn't even have a window. It was humid and uncomfortable.

“The only thing good about the hotel was that it would be a great place for a family with young kids because of the pool area. Other than that I would not stay there ever again.”

“The hotel is located just off I70. The hotel rooms are very clean and the staff members are very good. I suppose this is the best hotel in that area,”

• The swimming pool and water slide were fun for the kids.
• There were mold and mildew all over the bathroom.

“This is an older holiday inn that we've stayed at before. The kids love the pool and slide. The sleeping area and vanity area of the room was very clean and comfortable. The bedding and beds were new. The bathroom had black mildew and mold under all the grout and on the ceiling tiles. This was a shame because the basic materials were nice. With a little maintenance, it would be a great bathroom. I complained the next morning and the front desk lady apologized and gave my family a free breakfast. She said that she wasn't aware of the problem and would write up a maintenance order.”

• No stairs to 2nd floor, mold on the shower curtain, hot and humid when one walks inside the hotel, and smell overbearing from the pool when you walk in.

“I would not recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone. I thought I was getting a nicer hotel and was very disappointed, but we were there on a medical emergency and did not have time to do anything about the problem.”
