• The staff is super friendly and helpful.
• The sheets on some beds while clean are definately older.

“I have stayed at this hotel three times so far and have never experienced any problems whatsoever, I've been in three different rooms each one had a very large TV, and micro and fridge, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Ive seen some older sheets but they are obviously clean. The staff will go out of their way to help you in any way they can. The restaurant has a great breakfast, which is free with the room. There is Wi-Fi. Lots of cable channels including HBO. All the rooms I've been in also had a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The hotel is located directly in front of city hall, 5 blocks from the city law enforcement center, and directly across the street from the Abilene Civic Center, so I dont know how anyone can say its a bad neighborhood. Its quiet, well lit, and perfectly safe I am a single 28 year old woman, and I have never been afraid to stay here.”

• Surprised at the size of TV, also a refrigerator & microwave in room.
• Had to use Kleenex.

“For the price, the hotel was fine. I was surprised at the extras in the room. It was a quick stay and served it's purpose.”

• Price was reasonable.
• Pool was not useable. Doorways and doors were very dirty.

“The location was not very convenient, but it was workable. The biggest negative that I saw was that the doorways and doors were very dirty. It just showed that someone had not cleaned them in a long time.”

• The pool.
• Dirty sheets, dirty bathroom, refusal to give us extra towel for pool, unsafe environment for family.

“This hotel was the worse place I have ever stayed. The sheets were not only dirty but had cigarette burns on them. The bathroom had hair and trash in it and a dirty toilet. We had to ask for extra tissue paper and towels. Hotel staff was off on Sunday so we had to wait for them to call staff to come get towels for us. Desk clerk was very rude. I do not recommend this hotel.”

• Large TV.
• Dirty bathroom, no lighting, no dresser, vagrants asking for money.

“Our family was very disappointed. We had extended family staying across town in hotels, compared to this place should be 5 star. This should be a 1 star at the most. I went to my car to get something for the kids and was approached by a man asking for money. I ran back to my room and never went back out till daylight. This is a motel, not hotel and this is about 40-50 yrs old. This was an awful place. I had family staying at Marriott Courtyard and Holiday Inn Express.”

• The staff at this hotel were absolutely top notch!
• The rooms were a bit small and the bathroom was also!

“Our stay here was a three day stay. Everyday the staff worked hard to meet our needs. The pool was clean and the area around was also.”

• I don't like anything about this hotel.
• They over charged me for a coffee that I didn't take.

“The room was dirty, the toilet ran all night, the bath tub was not clean and the trash can in the bath room was not clean. I will not stay there if they would pay me.”

“Checked in at 11:30 pm. Checked out at 11:37 pm. The place is seedy and dark. stay far away. Very nice lady at the desk did not charge me when I told her my wife did not feel safe with all the hangers-around sitting outside the rooms and unattended children running amok so late at night. If this is a 3 star, then the MCM Elegant, where we ended up staying, deserves 30 stars.”

• The hotel room was clean.
• The tub and the room were small. This is not a 3 star hotel!

“The hotel was quiet. The ladies at the desk were very helpful. The room was well-equipped with towels. The room was clean, except in the corners. The restaurant had a large toy car in the middle of the dining room. The car had roaches on it. Each table had small crumbs on it. Part of the free breakfast was cold, part of it was just right. The waitress was very friendly. However, the restaurant was not clean. I would recommend the rooms as a 1 star, but not as a three star.”

“It was a good, clean, great location hotel. I believe they recently renovated it, new carpet, and fresh paint, swimming pool, and lounge were also there. I'd recommend it.”

• Staff was friendly.
• Dirty Bathroom!

“Me and my husband stayed at this hotel because it was close to his softball game. The bath tub had some kind of small bug in it and the water would not drain. The bathroom had no vent so the ceiling tiles were molded and falling down. Friends in the next room had dirty covers and called house keeping no one ever came. Do yourself a favor. Don't stay here.”

“Checked in and the motel you show as a 3 star is dirty, picture is probably 20 years old, walls and door are dirty, rodent droppings on counter, homeless knocking on door late into the evening begging.”

• The bed was comfortable. The atmosphere was not.
• Dirty, secluded, dirty restaurant, bar closed, It was an expensive cheap hotel. We were standed for 3 days.

“This hotel should have been rated 1 star only. It was not clean and we were very unsatisfied for the price. Apparently, others knew of the conditions because of all the empty rooms.”

• The bed was new and firm.
• Mold, old, and definitely not a 3 star! MAYBE a 1.

“We were traveling with our infant and wanted a clean, safe place to stay. We got a motor lodge with moldy shower fixtures, dirty carpet, curtains that didn't close, and the overall feeling that something was going to crawl on you in the night. Not to mention, they didn't have hot water in the morning and we had to delay our travel plans for 2 hours waiting on a shower. Their only recourse was to "not charge us for a late checkout." How generous.”
