• This is the most beautifully designed hotel in South Dakota.
• They screwed up the original design of the restaurant which was more open, but it's still nice.

“South Dakota does not have many attractive hotel/motels. The original design of this hotel was open, gracious; more like the style of a "great hotel" from years ago, like the Curtis in Minneapolis, the Brown Palace in Denver, or even the original Holiday Inn at Spearfish. Its location is next to the Missouri and its sandstone low slung style fits in naturally.”

• Large rooms, ceramic coffee mugs and lovely pool area.
• Train tracks behind so if you have a rear room, could hear trains.

“Very enjoyable. Clean, comfortable, spacious and friendly. Will definitely stay again.”

• Location to the river and Lewis and Clark trail.
• Excess water around swimming pool.

“Hotel is in a good location, close to the Missouri River. It is easy to find, convenient for travelers and within a 5 minute walk to a Children's Discovery Center. The room was ample size for our family of three and daughter enjoyed the centrally located in door pools.”
