• My room was next to the pool - air quality was poor due to smell of pool.

• Close to highway and shopping.
• Floors were thin. Could hear everything happening in room above us.

“Friendly staff. Professional. The common areas were recently damaged by a water main break that flooded the main floor. Construction was at a midpoint when we arrived. The room was clean and orderly. Good size. No fridge, microwave or safe.”

• No staff, no amenities, nothing!

“This hotel was going through some renovations or in their slow season. The signs were covered with tarps, only 5 people worked at the hotel the whole 7 days we were there. The continental breakfast was horrible. The staff only cleaned the room once during the week we were there. Only 5 other rooms were used while we were there. Very bare hotel and no amenities whatsoever. There are a few pools but they are owned by other hotels that are in the same complex as this hotel.”

• Breakfast area was very crowded, no klneex in room

“It was what we expected, when we got there about 3 PM our room was not ready, we had a wedding to get to so they assigned a different room and it was taken care of.”

• Continental breakfast was fantastic - one of the best I¿ve had.

• Desk clerk out the from door smoking.

“The breakfast was great with healthy options! I had to get the desk clerk from outside smoking so I could check out. That was unprofessional.”

• The upgrades have been very nice.
• HVAC is noisy and hard to have on during the night.

“We like it because it is close to the mall and to relatives in Minot. There is easy access to the rest of Minot from the motel. We have enjoyed the upgrades in the past couple of years and we find it to be much cleaner than previously.”

• Walking distance to shopping mall.
• 100% smoke free.

“Overall the stay was good, but there was a girl¿s hockey tournament going on, and a school bus parked and stayed running all night and was heard loud and clear in our room for the entire night.”

• Extremely friendly and helpful, good accommodations and excellent free breakfast buffet.
• It's a little hard to get to when traveling from west to east.

“Nice fluffy bedding and pillows. Very clean. Pet friendly. Excellent free breakfast buffet. Nice but smaller pool and hot-tub area. Walking distance to mall. Staff go above and beyond!”

• Great breakfast and computer with internet in lobby.
• Got room by elevator; smaller than most and some noise.

“Nice small hotel in Dakota square mall parking lot. Where we wanted to be. Stayed there a few times before and will return. Staffs are great. Breakfast better this time with microwavable egg/ham sandwich and other items. Late check out was allowed till 1:30pm. Free passes to nearby YMCA.”

• Excellent value for money. Clean, quiet, comfortable.
• Some highway noise.

“This property is underrated. Should be at least a 2.5. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Staff very helpful. Will recommend it to everybody. Free breakfast was another plus for the Fairfield. Lots of free parking even for motor homes. Handy to the big mall. Excellent property.”

• There is nothing I did not enjoy about this hotel
