• The employees were great and the beds were really comfortable.
• Our bath was slow at draining.

“My stay at this hotel was great. Even though house keeping woke us up a 9am, which was probably a good thing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The employees were as if they liked their jobs. Which you don't see much of anymore. Thank you.”

• The staff was very personable and helpful.
• Nothing. It was all good.

“It's an older hotel BUT totally redone and the beds and rooms were very clean and smelled nice. The staff were great, whatever we wanted they were right there. Kids played in their nice indoor pool and had a blast. No problems. I would revisit.”

• Location was excellent - very close to the Tech Campus.
• The pool water was a lovely shade of green-brown.

“The staff was friendly and courteous. My room (suite) was clean and in good shape. The pool was not super clean but there were large groups of families with children so that may have contributed to its less-than-appealing color. But, there was never any noise to deal with so that was never an issue. I would especially recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay near the Texas Tech Campus.”

• Very clean and friendly employees.
• I did not experience anything I did not like.

“I was very pleased with this hotel as it was an older hotel yet it was well kept and very clean. The rooms were furnished with good furnishings and I had access to all the amenities. The hotel staff was outstanding and I was close to two restaurants in which I could walk to. My stay there was very enjoyable. I also like the new policy of Priceline where if notified on time as to a cancellation was not charged.”

• The room in general was clean and a good size with a fridge & microwave.
• Halls outside the room smelled like dog, the stairwells were filthy. No towel rack on the sink.

“It is very dingy and in need of a serious update. It could do with a really thorough cleaning including the carpets and maybe that would eliminate the dog smell that was present in the hallways leading to the rooms.
I loved the fridge & microwave in the suite. That is always a plus.”

• Holiday Inn has good sheets, pillow and shower heads.
• There was no regular coffee available for room coffee pots.

“Restaurant service was poor and food was mediocre. However, front desk staff was good.
The stay was okay. But this is definitely not a 3-star hotel.”

• Got there too late and had to leave too early to enjoy it enough.

  clean.
• Shower temperature would not stay at a certain temperature.

“Other than the shower temperature, this was a very nice hotel. I loved the location and the friendly people that were working there. Clean, comfortable, and well kept.”

• I liked the location, dependability and friendly staff service.
• I was unhappy that there was not a spa or outdoor swimming pool.

“I enjoyed the cleanliness, prompt service and friendliness of the business. The staff was all very helpful and professional. The amenities were acceptable and pleasant. I would have liked to see a spa.”

“Security could not be found within 30 minutes of asking, staff entered our room when a do no disturb was posted on our door, ice machine did not work on our floor and no out of order sign was posted. Pets were not allowed.”
