• Close to airport.
• The quality of the hotel was not good.

“We requested a non-smoking room and the only had smoking rooms. Then one of our other rooms did not have towel and it was not cleaned. When we requested towels, we were told to go and pick them at their office.”

• The weekend morning staff was extremely courteous & helpful!
• The night staff was rude!

“Night staff was extremely rude. Was told, after driving 14 hrs, that they weren't sure they had a room for me. The next morning staff was sympathetic, cheerful, friendly and said an extra 2 hrs was no problem since we checked in late.”

“This place is dump, overpriced for what it is. I would not even think of staying here again. From what I seen it is hard to find any motels in this area that are half way clean for a fair price.”

• Don't like the washbasin outside the bathroom.

“Good for oil workers in the region but difficult to locate off the main highway. It is your basic motel with a bad breakfast bar but generally not unlike others.”

• The beds were comfortable 2 me.
• Its away from eating places.

“For being a 1 star hotel its wasn't that bad, I wasn't looking for a 5 star hotel, the staff was excellent they greeted me with a smile.”

• The stall.

“The room was dirty, with trash on the floor, there was other peoples food in the fridge. When I complained she said if we wanted to pay more money she could put us in a better room.”

• Girl at front desk was nice.
• Holes in wall, door wouldn't lock properly, room in state of dis-repair.

“Appeared to be in some state of re-modeling. Nothing matched up in the room, the cabinets didn't fit against the walls to cover holes, exposed wires, etc. Had hot water.”

• The location to Interstate 20 and Midland.
• Sheets were dirty and unchanged (had hair on them).

“If you want to play room tag. Stay here. The first room they put me in was dirty from the last customer. Bed unmade, sheets dirty, bathroom dirty etc. The second room they had me go to had stuff in it like boxes, luggage and personal items (someone was staying in it but not there). The third and last room was made up to be clean but the sheets on the bed had hair on them and appeared to be unclean. I will never stay at a Travelodge again as long as I live.”

• This motel met all my requirements and there were no unpleasant surprises.
• Due to a large group of teenagers on a school trip staying there one night things did get a bit noisy.

“This motel is a great place to stay if you are looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay. While not fancy in many respects, it is still a great value.”

• There were some amenities that I liked such as the refrigerator and microwave. However, there were dirty.
• I did not like the management staff. I feel he was very unfair compared to previous hotels I have been to.

“My experience with the Travelodge at midland hotel was not sufficed. I felt that the Travelodge did not accommodate me or my guest with the needed number of beds. In the past I have never had a problem asking for two queen beds instead of the one king bed that we were placed in. His pricing to upgrade was ridiculous. We had several co workers stay here this past week. We received the same room and bad quality of service. I will not recommend the Travelodge at midland to any family or friend. Thank you.”

• Staff found cashier's check and turned it in a+.
• Bathrooms horrible/floor squeaked/poor TV reception.

“While I was put out about the cleanliness of the room (coffee pot was not cleaned out, no toilet paper and in second room no bath towels), I did appreciate the staff immensely. I accidentally left a cashier's check on the table when we had to change rooms. It was turned in and my daughter picked up the check the next day. Thanks to the staff.”

• Needs to be cleaned, and replace carpet etc........nasty
