• Nice rooms.
• Unsecured external doors to hotel.

“Good rooms, decent location. Good amenities. Overall hotel look was a little old though and some facilities not quite kept in full order.”

• Very nice bed linens.
• Towels were somewhat ragged.

“Clean and comfortable room. Tastefully decorated. Pillow-top mattress. Starbucks coffee in room. Bath & Bodyworks toiletries. Affordable room service available.”

• The hotel was excellent for Odessa; the hotel personnel were wonderful.
• The room was a bit dated; no mini-fridge or microwave.

“The hotel personnel were very nice and helpful. Odessa is not a swanky place, but the hotel was very nice, the beds were great, and the sheets were good quality.”

• Very pretty inside. Counter staff exceptional in personality, friendliness, and attention to needs. Safe and secure environment.
• Electrical sockets inadequate; no plug for floor lamp, refrigerator in poor location. Bathroom way too small.

• The lobby was beautiful.
• The bath tub didn't drain well at all.

• Great view of city from seventh floor.
• The walls were not thick as you could hear people in next room.

“The overall experience was great. The rooms were superb and the view of city is special. Watch out for family with kids if they get next door as you are able to hear the kids party if you want to sleep. Look forward to returning in summer and check out swimming pool and hot tub.”

• Broken tile in shower.

“The first row of tiles in the shower was pulled away from the wall and the water ran behind the wall when showering. Otherwise, the room was clean and we enjoyed our stay.”

• Very comfortable beds, decor was great, very quiet even in the early morning.
• Saw one less than reputable looking guest on my floor.

“This was a great stay. I booked this hotel for me and my wife to get away for the weekend, we were more than pleased. We stayed at a 4 star hotel for less than what we would have had to pay at the holiday inn, and for not much more than the unattractive economy motels.”

• The beds were comfortable.
• Carpet was dirty. Our feet turned black when walking on it.

“Upon check in, they gave me a hard time about needing two beds. They said there was just no rooms available with two beds. After explaining that I have two children and a husband and that we would not fit in one bed, they "magically" found a room that had two beds.”

• The lobby was very nice.
• Our room wasn't was dirty and not ready for guests.

“While the lobby and the people are extremely friendly, our shower did not drain water, the comforter on the bed was dirty. We also ordered room service and our bacon was burnt on one plate and tasted old on another. If your looking for a place to just stay the night, stay at the days inn around the corner.”

• This hotel had extremely comfortable beds and linens along with the whole cozy appeal of the room.
• The only the thing I might change is the climate control. the room felt a little cold even with the unit working.

• The hotel was generally very clean and staff was nice.
• Tub did not drain.

“We only stayed one night but we felt that over all the hotel and room were very clean. We had a minor problem with the TV and the staff was friendly and fast to correct the problem. Later we learned that the tub would not drain but we did not have time to wait for them to fix it.”

• The mattress on the bed was very comfortable.
• The bed linens were rough, too stiff, not enough lighting in the room.

“The hotel was very pretty, the room was a nice size and the mattress was very comfy. The sheets and pillow cases were stiff and uncomfortable. The room was very poorly lit, making reading very difficult. It was the darkest hotel room I have ever stayed in. A computer was available in the lobby area for use by customers, which is a nice feature.”

• Beautiful lobby richly appointed and very nice rooms.
• Noise from club filtered into room.

“This is a great hotel. The lobby is lovely and was richly appointed. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. I believe the owner is a local Odessa and I am pleased to say there was a large granite slab with the ten commandments carved in it at the front entrance! Hurray for him. I believe he also owns the mall which had a large nativity scene out front and the largest American flag I have ever seen. Hurray for him! The room was also richly appointed with fine linens and furniture. The only negative was the club noise and the pillows on the bed were rather flat.”

• Comfort of the beds.
• Front desk staff.

“Hotel was great! Front desk person at check in seems a little cold, but upon checkout no problem. My only suggestion would be to be a little more personable with guests at front desk. New years activities were a little pricey, so I enjoyed bringing in the new year off site. Cleaning staff were excellent!”
