• Nice to have hotel with a restaurant.
• Nothing comes to mind.

• Cool water fountain, clean and comfortable rooms.
• Breakfast buffet closes before 11 am. Checkout is at 11 am. This is not convenient for hungry guests.

“If you are going to Mt. Rushmore but want to pay cheaper prices for a place to stay but still want quality, try out this Holiday Inn. It's not next door to Mt. Rushmore but it's not that far of a drive either.”

• Location to downtown.
• Old hotel in need of several million dollar remodel.

“This hotel is difficult to rate! It has all of the amenities of a 3 star hotel as described by Priceline, but the age of the establishment makes me want to give it a 1 star rating. The location is great and the hotel staff is courteous. The restaurant is not a good choice for breakfast.”

• The lobby was cool.
• Everything else.

“The hotel was a huge disappointment. We won’t ever stay here again. The rooms smelled old and the furniture was old and needs replaced. This was a huge damper on what was suppose to be an enjoyable experience. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody ever. I used to work at Holiday Inn and expected that it would be a nice clean home away from home but that was not the case. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.”
