• Head of housekeeping was friendly and helpful.
• AC worked only marginally, pool was in need of repair, Ice only in main building.

“This motel is very dated and completely overpriced. The AC unit worked part of the time. Since we booked on the Internet we were placed in an older building unit on the second floor. My elderly mother had a hard time on the stairs (since there was no elevator) the only ice dispenser was in the main building. the place was most likely built in the 60's and not much as been updated since. The pool ladder was broke and the pool furniture looked abandoned.”

• The room was pleasant enough.
• Outside entrances to rooms, poor value for the dollar.

“I'm sure this is the least expensive hotel in the area. Entering and leaving from busy Rushmore road is unpleasant, as is navigating the tight parking lots and outside stairways and access balcony. The room was pleasant if odd, which also describes the desk personnel. In many other cities.”

• Clean, comfortable & quiet.
• I didn't like being on the upper level when we had 3 children 4& under in age.

“We were put on the upper twelve where we had to go up & down with 3 children ages 4 & under also when s we would have to go up the stairs at night there was no light on the stairs so it was darker & I didn't feel it was very safe at all.”

“It has a good location, but that is all. The room air conditioning was not working in our room, and it was in the 90's. We called, but it could not be fixed because on of the control knobs was broken off. I believe that that is something that should be checked daily by the Hotel Staff, to see that everything is working. Breakfast was Ok, you get a $ 1.50 discount in an on-site restaurant.”
