“The hotel was one of the cleanest we stayed at during our trip. Everything from the room to the lobby to the restaurant was prestine.”

• Nice location in the Black hills.
• Beds were hard, small bathroom, no continental breakfast.

“The beds were hard, the bathroom small, no continental breakfast. I would expect this kind of room from an economy hotel. The people at the counter did not seem over friendly. The rooms were clean.”

• I liked the architecture of the building.
• The hotel lobby was crowded out by a gift shop.

“Nice hotel in the Black Hills of South Dakota, within 20 minutes drive to The Presidential Monument on Mount Rushmore. Beautiful wood building with an excellent architecture. Very practical service, I got to the hotel after 11:00 pm and in this sleepy little town it may be difficult to keep someone up beyond 10:30. Well my keys and direction were attached to the door of the lobby and whoever was responsible took a well needed nap.”

• The food was horrible, the room was small and we did not enjoy it.

• The staff was excellent, friendly and professional.
• Some rooms were small and noisy - near the pool.

“An excellent experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful all A+. The indoor pool was extremely nice. Everything was clean, the staff was excellent. The suites were very nice. I would stay there again. Very close to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State park all a short drive with little or no traffic. Hill City - Main Street with several restaurants and bars is within walking distance.”

• Overpriced for quality.
• No smoking.

“It might be nice to know they roll up the sidewalks in Hill City at 9 pm on the weeknights. Nothing to do after that time and no open restaurants or clubs.”
