• Conveniently located and excellent quality for price.

“The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms have lots of space and are very clean. We would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area.”

• I liked the king bed and a sofa bed.
• The continental breakfast room is much too small for the amount of people using it. There wasn't enough seating.

“Overall, this hotel was nice. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The pool was nice and the rooms were cleaned every day.
On the downside, there were only three towels in our room of four people and the breakfast area, where the continental breakfast is served, is far too small to accomodate everyone. People were standing waiting for seats to become available.”

• Indoor pool open late. Decent breakfast for price.
• No vent in bathroom, old hair dryer.

“Older but clean. Everything was fine for the price. One of the closer hotels to Carlsbad Caverns. Breakfast was better then average for this type of hotel. Hard boiled eggs and a good selection of cereals, but no apple juice and poor selection of fresh fruit.”

• The indoor pool was nice.
• Rooms stunk like smoke, unfriendly staff, poor breakfast.

“The room I got was a queen, smoking room. I have an 8yr and a 1yr and do not like them to be around that kind of stuff. So I went and asked for another room and was told, rather rudely, that they were all booked for the next couple of nights and there was nothing they could do. In our room, we found a hotel mission statement that states, "If you are not satisfied with your stay please let them know and they will compensate part or all of your stay". However, when I told the front desk about the statement in the room I was once again told that there is nothing she could do because the manager was not there. I will not stay in this hotel or recommend this hotel to anyone in the future.”

• It was close to the caverns.
• The beds were worn the room smelled bad.

“This wasn't that nice of a hotel and for the price you would expect more. It should go under economy for truckers not families.”

• They had a standard coffee pot.
• Dust and dirt next to the walls.

“Over the entire Hotel was ok. The girl at the front desk was kind of rude to my Husband. He told her that we did not smoke. And if you take a towel, thats 20.00. What is that about! We are not in the habit of taking things that do not belong to us. We have never smoked. She just had a chip on her shoulder.”

“Hotel was clan and quiet. The grounds are non-existent. Pool is small but clean. Overall not a bad choice for this town.”

• It was in the town that we needed.
• The manager was not happy about the arrangements.

“The motel was clean, had a refrigerator, microwave, and wireless, which is what we required. The manager was unhappy about honoring our son's employee discount (he works for Days Inn) and was angry saying that it would come out of someone's pocket. Family friendly.”

• Had to go outside to get to indoor pool.

“Nice accommodations, staff was helpful, my room was upgraded at no additional charge.”

• The hotel was clean.
• The staff was not very friendly.

“The overall stay was fine and the room was clean. With the exception of reserving a non smoking room and ended up with a reeking smoking room. When I advised the front staff of this I was advised that I was lucky to have received a room there.”
