“Pretty nice motel, but not a good location. For the price, great.”

“This hotel fit our needs perfectly and was much better than expected. The lobby was clean and nicely maintained. Check-in procedure was seamless. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The pool looked very inviting and there was also a nice common area; although we did not have time to use it. The room had a refrigerator and microwave-so that was a plus. I would stay there again or recommend it to friends / family.”

“I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. Based on star ratings, this should have been one of the best hotels in town. It was NOT! No elevator for 2nd floor. In deperate need of remodeling. I do NOT recommend it, even at a low price.”

“The front desk was very unhelpful when asked about area attractions and activities. The whole place smelled stale. It needed to be updated desperately. The skylights in the pool area leaked into the pool, or they were missing all together. Some had plastic draped beneath them. The both saunas were broken. There were garbage cans in the hallways to catch water that was leaking from the roof. There were dirty room service dishes outside of guest rooms that sat on the floor in the hallways for the entire length of our stay(4days). The shower was in desperate need of a good scrubbing, there was mildew and soap scum all over the grout. The bathtub refused to drain. It was a mess!”

“Hotel was in desperate need of renovation. It rained briefly the night we arrived, The skylights over the indoor pool were leaking into the pool, or just missing altogether. The neither of the saunas worked. There were garbage cans in the hallways to catch the dripping water from the roof. The room service dishes from other rooms were left outside in the hallways for literally 3 days without being picked up by the hotel staff. The front desk staff was absolutely no help when asked about area attractions or things that would be interesting to do. The so called free hot breakfast was disgusting, we were thankful there was a IHOP and a Denny's next door. We honestly with that we would have stayed elsewhere. We won't be back there again.”

“Great stay, no problems, only complaint would be stair access only no elevators, other than that great.”

“We always stay in this hotel. It's old but the rooms are big and comfortable and they provide a little refrigerator and other necesieties. The beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet. We spent Christmas here with all four families, and the staff treated us like family. They call you about an hour after check-in to make sure you like the room and to see if you need anything.”

“If memory serves, this property started life as an open-air Holiday Inn in the 60's. At some point they roofed-over the whole thing, but left out elevators for weary travelers required to drag things to second floor rooms. They've somehow skirted modern fire codes by not installing smoke doors at the ends of corridors and in other locations. A smoky fire in the restaurant could endanger hotel patrons a hundred yards away! Beds were hard, but flat. A broken spring poked me in the ribs all night. Some nice touches, though: two lavs in the bath, granite counters, and central AC (instead of those noisy PTAC's) along with a free, hearty, breakfast. Carpets in the common areas, especially on stairs, were worn, and recent deluges (an unusual occurrence in Roswell) left many 2nd floor ceiling tiles stained and sagging. The place could be very nice, but it will require further modernization.”

“Average at best. Room was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled awful. Things in room were broken. Breakfast bar was ok but flies everywhere.”

“The beds are spring/type and you can feel the springs. Otherwise, the room is attractive. The shower had a very slow drain. Was otherwise an attractive bathroom. The lobby and personnel were very friendly. The included breakfast was fair, with watery eggs and small, cheap donuts. There was sausage, make-your-own toast, and watery hash browns.”

“The rooms facing the internal courtyard/pool areas are dark and dank and smell of smoke (even though they are supposed to be non-smoking rooms). These rooms don't have any windows facing the outside which made me feel claustrophobic. The smells from the smoking rooms permeate into the non-smoking rooms. Be advised that if you arrive late in the day, the hotel will put you in the internal rooms.”

“Water shut off on two different days without notice. Worked nights and notified staff of extension of stay which did not get communicated, awakened to determine if I was extending my stay. Very poor staff attitude.”
