“The property is actually undergoing name change to Clarin, so the sign outside can be very confusing, and the entrance is not very clear. We almost got killed by a speeding car on Elizabeth st. when making a left turn into the lot. The restaurant is gorgeous, plenty of selections.”

“Nonprofessional Staff - Our reservations were not entered in their computer correctly. We were lucky to have our confirmation papers with us! Then, on our second day, we had to re-check in because our reservations were still not correct. We paid way too much for the service we received. We were late for two events because of the time required to check in both times.”

“Lack of maintenance! Both doors into the room were not secured, door striker plate was not fastened to the frame, door security chain/latch was not secured to door thus rendered it useless!”

“They advertised free full breakfast when we went to eat the ask for a coupon which we were never given one staff said she'd get us one then we were ask to leave and we could not have breakfast because we got our room via internet, in the mean time my nine year old had already served himself and was made to leave his food there. No manager was on duty throughout my stay. I was unable to make a formal complaint. I was not happy!”

“The hotel is located close to local dining and easy access on and off of highways. The continental breakfast was acceptable, but could have offered fruit and Danish. The landscaping was nice at the front lobby area.”

“First impressions are so important. However, the staff does not care about this and does not greet or even look up from playing computer games. We felt like we were a disturbance to her. It took 15 - 20 minutes to check in because she could not find our reservation - only to admit that she had not entered it in the computer. She refused to give us a receipt after payment. We will not go to this hotel again and we surely will not recommend it to anyone. The next morning when we turned in our keys, different staff was at the desk, and he was less than friendly also.”

“1st room assigned had the door open when we arrived and had not been made since the night before. Second room was assigned but staff seemed put out that they had to wait on us. Rooms haven't been redecorated since days as a holiday inn at least 20 years. Place is just in bad need of a through cleaning and remodel. Carpet shows wear; curtains in rooms are thread bear allowing light thru. ”

“My first day in the hotel, someone from room service stole my brand new bottle of cologne, when I tried to talk to a manager about it. I was put off for 3 days; I had to have the front desk person finally call her at home when I was checking out just to get the situation taken care of. Also when it rained on my second day, the rain leaked into the room soaking the carpet by the wall.”

“The location of this hotel is very good, lots of rest. Nearby. The room can be entered from the hallway and also from the parking lot; made the loading/unloading easy. It has fitness room with 2 old bicycles that I think need to be replaced. One of the bikes is not working (but has no out of order sign). The seat cushion of the bike was creaked and falling apart, so after I finished my exercise, the crumbs stacked all over my pants and shirt. I rather get a quality inn or day¿s inn for the same star level.”

“There is no way that this hotel should be rated a three star (upscale) hotel. The room and the lobby were both shabby. The carpet in the room was badly stained and the curtains were torn. The room did not have any soap, shampoo, or wash clothes. We were told that there was no housekeeping staff on duty. The front desk clerk tried to find the supplies, but said that she could not locate them. We went to a local store to buy soap for our room. All in all a very disappointing experience.”

“It is not the 3 star you have it rated as. It is an old renovated holiday inn. Can serve a purpose as a cheap place to go if you can¿t afford something else.”

“The trash was overflowing. The curtains had melted to the windows which were also dirty and had paint overspray. The towels in a room for four were 1 face towel and 3 large with 2 hands. When new ones were delivered they were literally black and I took them to the office and was told oh the maintenance man brought them they were probably cleaning rags nice>. ”

“This was a old motel that tried to be given new life with some paint. The beds were about shot and didn't appear to be very clean. There was no soap in the room. You may want to drop this place or give it your bottom rating.”

“Upon arrival we were disappointed because the parking lot was trashed out. The lobby was impressive and nice yet the rooms were a different story. The beds were uncomfortable; lumpy and could feel the springs on your back. There were no toiletries available for bathroom. It was very uncomfortable and not a place for family with young children, aside from the pool and arcade.”

“The hotel staff was not very friendly at all. The lobby of course was nice, got to get that first impression. The only thing we liked was the pool, it was warm. The rooms were not that great, the curtain backings were plastic and they were very sun-beaten and old. We were stuck in the old part of the hotel not a great view. The bathrooms were dirty and very old and very, very small. The room heater did not work, we slept cold. Would not recommend this hotel.”

“Hotel showed signs of trying to keep its appearance up, but hotel is not modern or upscale in any fashion. Sound insulation badly needed on rooms facing towards the south and heating unit needs to have a thermostat so that you can tell the temp you want & hold that temp. ”

“The location was right for me. The pool and fitness room were nice. I did not like hearing every car that drove by or every conversation as people walked past my room. The bathroom was small and the way the door opened made it smaller.”
