• Nice lobby.
• Dirty rooms.

“The staff was less than helpful when we had concerns and problems with our room. The staff left the door to our hotel room standing wide open all day. We came in at midnight to find the door open, all the lights and TV on. The staff was not concerned when we reported this to them. Staff also tried to state that it was us who left the door open. Bed was uncomfortable, so I requested more pillows, the staff was unable to accommodate this request because they didn't have any extras. The room felt dingy and dirty, and the wall were so thin we could hear the conversations both next door and outside.”

• The location was convenient for me.
• The front doors were locked and I had to find another entrance. Could not get a hold of staff. Almost called authorities so I could get in.

“The location was very convenient for me. I was in town to visit my son for Mother's Day. We had an out of town hockey tournament and when I returned (late) the front doors of the hotel were locked. The sign on the door said to ring the bell, I did so, no answer. So I called the hotel front desk, no answer. It rang, and rang, and rang. I almost thought I was going to have to call the local authorities so I could get into the hotel. I walked around the hotel until I found another entrance. Fortunately, I was able to get in. I told the Front Desk Mgr the next morning of the problem I had. I will not stay at this hotel again. That incident changed my mind about my stay there.”

• The room access was difficult, TV remote, and heater did not work well.

“It needs to be remodeled, better exterior lighting, more attractive eating area. On the plus side it was convenient and quiet.”

• It had a nice, functioning hot tub.
• Pool too small.

• Close to Airport, nice room, friendly staff.
• They need to serve some protein for breakfast for travelers.

“Great place to stay when you need to fly out of Colorado Springs. Nice pool, but not able to take time to enjoy. Staff gave good recommendation for dinner. We will definitely stay here again when we need a home base for flying, or for sightseeing in Colorado Springs. Thank you, Constance Converse.”

• Price was low ($49 for 2 people), came with pool, newspaper delivered to room, breakfast.
• didn't explain why my wife needed to give credit card, since I had already paid.

“Great!! room was clean and had a refrigerator! (as well as bed, phone, TV, iron, hair dryer, etc) The hotel had a hot tub and a pool, and we found a newspaper delivered to each of the occupied rooms in the morning. Breakfast was included, and included fruit, pastries, cereal, and fresh waffles. Definitely a great experience. Will recommend it for my family and friends.”

• A lot more than what I expected
• Only problem was front desk personel seemed a bit short tempered or not with it.

“It was a very clean hotel with a lot more to offer than I expected when I asked for a 1 star hotel. The front desk personel left something to be desired but otherwise the stay and price were great.”

• P.M. staff new, gave me wrong directions, no idea!!!

“Very good, except, at 1:00 A.M. I do not want to be driving around with bad directions. Staff should be trained better before given shifts alone. Rest of staff and cleanliness very good, and nice quiet, and accesible. (with good directions!) ”
