• The room was clean and comfortable.
• The continental breakfast was a bit on the skimpy side.

“The bedroom was clean and comfortable. All of the staff members I spoke with were friendly and helpful. The only area that was somewhat lacking was the continental breakfast,which was the same thing all four mornings: biscuits and gravy, bagel and/or sweet roll, and a choice of two kinds of cereal. Overall, though, it was an excellent bargain and in a great location on the north side of Colorado Springs.”

• I did not like it at all.
• They did not have much of a breakfast and did not get the type of room we wanted.

“Poor, Staff was not friendly. They did not even have bread for the toaster at breakfast. The breakfast consisted of cereal.”

• Nothing.
• Heated pool was a joke. Continental Breakfast was coffee and hard-boiled eggs. Pipe leaked.

• I got a room near to my family members that were also staying at the same hotel.
• No printers available or toiletries.

• Easy to find, less expensive.
• Management was rude about breakfast being, closed.

“Decent for the price. Don't be five minutes late for breakfast. They are cleaning and shutting down while you are trying to eat.”

• Continental breakfast, very nice way to wake up - near all the spots we were going to.
• Might add a handicap bar in the shower.

“We were pleased that this was near our friends house and all major highways were there to get us to attractions - staff nice - and possibly the mattress could be turned as I was in a bit of a gully - not a biggie - but might bother another -.”

• The breakfast bar was yummy. The coffee was hot, fresh, and tasty. There was a good variety to choose from.
• The room was stark. There was only a small table and old arm chair to sit in other than the bed.

“The Howard Johnson hotel in Colorado springs was clean, convenient, and had many eateries nearby. The breakfast bar was more than adequate for the weekend traveler who only wanted a quick bite before heading into town to local attractions. The showers were hot! Refreshing after a long day sitting at a local falcon's football game! Go screaming eagles! The staff was helpful, polite, and presentable. Common areas were missing kid friendly activities or areas to congregate. A small room was a ping pong table, pool table, video games etc. Would enhance the stay. The rooms were well heated! Television reception was good, and the TV's were of a good size and in good repair.”

• Nice breakfast, nice staff.
• Ice machine not as convenient as it could be, beds not very comfortable.

“We had a little trouble finding the motel but once there, the clerk at the desk was very personable and helpful. For the price, thought the hotel was very good.”

“I was pleased to find the accommodations were Spartan, but clean & comfortable. The staff was very helpful (put me in a 1st floor room on request, with handicap parking; as requested. it was close to the office, but clean, the air conditioning worked, and they had a great continental breakfast (even though the breakfast room was extremely hot). It was an excellent value & I'd recommend it to anyone staying in the area.”

• The TV setup, all the instructions before getting to a regular channel.

“This is a pleasant hotel well located near major shops. The staff is friendly, although they did make a mistake on my bill (charging for a movie I asked them to cancel immediately after purchasing it.”

• Filthy smelly cold nasty disgusting. Hadn't been cleaned in years.

“It addition to being completely fifthly and nasty, it did not have the attributes, heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Though after experiencing the disgusting room, I¿m not sure I would have trusted the sanitary condition of any water.”

• Very clean, very friendly staff.
• The hotel was outdated. The bed's were not that comfortable and the shower had very low water pressure.

“The hotel was VERY clean and hotel staff very friendly. However, room was more of a one star then a two. Beds were not very comfortable and every time my husband or I moved the bed creaked so loud that it woke the other up. Sounded like a bag of potato chips! The water pressure was very low. It was a long walk to the room outside. There is an elevator but it was a long walk as well. This is a hotel I would stay at if all you needed was cheap and clean. I would recommend for that but its not a comfort motel or anything to get excited about. I have stayed in nicer Motel 6's.”
