• Big beds soft bedding.
• No free in room internet.

“Great comfy beds, spacious rooms, room could have free in-room high speed internet, cheaper hotels do odd that a high priced hotel makes you pay for it.”

• Room large flat screens computer room clean hot tub/pool.
• Sauna not working, restaurant closed at 2p bar would not allow an 11 child in to eat or play pool after 6p.

“Very nice, clean, wish we could eat, play pool in the bar with and 11 year old child since the restaurant was closed after 6 pm. When asked where we could order and eat we were told we would have to go somewhere else. We requested robes were told they would not provide them. Placed 3 phone calls one to order dinner across the street and two other local calls to a business that only had a recording and we were charged 0.50 per call.”

• Window faced expressway and was noisy.

“I only stayed one night and found it acceptable for business use. Clean room, with nice business center. Only thing I didn't like was that the window faced the expressway and I could hear road noise.”

• The large rooms.
• Customer service of front desk (or lack thereof).

“While the Doubletree is showing it's age, the construction is sure to help. The pool is nicely sized. My children enjoyed it. One of my main complaints would be the lack of warmth by the employees and the hotel layout. If you are at the back of the hotel, getting across to the dining areas is somewhat lengthy and confusing. Plenty of eating establishments near by. Excellent for those traveling to the Zoo or Seven Falls. Breakfast buffet was $12/pp but in impressive on an early Sunday Morning.”

• The room was fantastic. It was spacious and clean.
• The front desk wanted to charge an upgrade fee because we asked for a King instead of two Queens.

• The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
• I did not like having to pay for Internet and Phone service.

“This was a pleasant experience, the room was very clean and the price was right! The staff was very helpful, and friendly!”

“It was fine for business except for the food. The staff were unaware and distracted and not very helpful. I felt like I was in their way.”

“Hotel is showing its age a little but overall it's nice. Offered a computer room with internet access and printing and faxing. For the 45 per night you can't beat it.”

• Lots of dirt and lint against walls, edges through hallways and in room - vacuuming issue. Lots of scrapes and scratches on door.

• I love the little things the hotel does to help you feel at home, like a fresh baked gourmet chocolate chip cookie when you check in.
• Upon check in would have been nice to have known about any additional perks you get with the hotel price. i.e.. Shuttle service, laundry, pool or spa.

“Nice hotel right off the highway. It was easy to find. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I would stay there again with no question.”

• The staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable.
• Too noisy the walls are thin.

“The hotel is old. I was given a smoking room and the staff tried very hard to make the room smell better. As someone who can smell smoke a mile away it was not a huge help.”
