  • This Hotel is cheap run by unfriendly staff. They had dogs barking when
I entered this hotel. They had two of them in the reception area.
  • Unfriendly staff. Carpet.
I can listen to the breath of my neighbor. So horribly sound proofed and very old air conditioners without control.

“This is not a Hotel. Just a small Motel likely good for highway revelers to lay by. Not neat. Scary.”

  • It was close to alot of things- restaraunts, a mall, parks and the Broadmoor.
  • It could be up dated a bit with new carpets and paint.

“I liked this motel it was close to the things we were there for. It could us some updating with carpets and paint but it was clean for an older motel. The continental breakfest was okay but the bread and doughnuts could have been fresher. Overall, as a good experience.”

  • The staff was wonderful.
  • The location was horrible, it was in a not so great part of town.

“This hotel was in a bad part of town and wasn't very clean. The water wouldn't shut off in the shower. It's difficult to get in and out of the parking lot, but the staff was wonderful.”

  • Good business center.
  • Cost was higher than Econo Lodge next door.

“Room is large with fridge, microwave.”

  • Bathroom was small.

“My family and I loved staying at the Ramanda Inn and will do so in the future because the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

  • Nothing
  • bad location, bathroom dirty, maid didn't empty garbage can, didn't leave coffee for next morning

“Room was not very clean, maid did not empty garbage can and did not leave complimentary coffee for the next day. rooms have no extra electrical outlets, could not even plug in computer, had to unplug one of the lamps to do so. very bad location in town, I would not even rate this hotel a 1-star.”

  • One desk clerk was nice.
  • Dirty. Bad neighborhood.

“Ramada usually stands for quality. This palce was a dump! The towels were like cardboard. The room was not made up on one night. The room was marvelous.”

  • Absolutely nothing. The Ramada chain should be ashamed.
  • Filthy, gave away our requests as we were late arrivals, very crime ridden area.

“The Ramada chain should be very ashamed that they have put their name to this hotel. Such a crime neighborhood that we couldn't speak with the management because they were literally chained behind a closed door. Sticky, gummy filth on chairs and everywhere. Hairblower was defective but working so a good shock was available to those with more bravery than I. In the glass cups, a sanitary lid had been placed over used glasses with liquid still in them. My God! It couldn't get much worse.”

  • Price was OK, location was very important.
  • Access was not easy from Interstate since there is a MEDIAN prohibiting turning directly into the motel, smelly room, poor AC, poor phone

“For the price I have enjoyed stays at other motels that provided FAR more. Access from the Interstate was awkward at best since there is a MEDIAN prohibiting turning directly into the motel from Nevada Ave. We had to go the the 7-11 store and do a "U" turn every time we went to the motel. The motel neighborhood appeared overall rundown, low class, and "trashy" with the appearance of suspicious and rough-looking characters everywhere. The room immediately gave a dank and smelly impression dispite recent efforts to "re-model". It actually smelled like urine, but was NOT attributed to the bathroom. The temperature outside was 104 degrees and we discovered that the room AC could not be switched to HIGH setting because of the awful noise it made. The room phone was literally falling apart ! No cover plate and wires were showing in several places throught the insulation. The clock radio was non-functional and was apparently "stuck" in the alarm mode. We requested, and were provided with, a different clock that DID work. We tried to receive an "in-comming" call and quickly learned that the office had LOST the call. "Continental" breakfast WAS convenient and OK I guess. I”

  • Some limited aesthetic upgrades, otherwise nothing.
  • This was not what I consider a 3-4 star hotel, more like 1, bad quality.

“Location was in a very bad (high crime, poverty, etc.) part of Colorado Springs, and was not conveniently located near the World Arena, or any other event locations. I would not recommend this hotel to family or friends. There were some upgrades to the outside, but the inside of the rooms was not considered high quality. Much work has to be done in order for this hotel to live up to the rating ”

  • The room size was nice. It had enough room to move around.
  • The room was musky smelling and the rug felt dirty to your bare feet. Continetal breakfast was poor.

“When we arrived and went to our room we opened the door and the tv was on and a suitcase sat open. They had given us someone elses room, plus when that person showed up, as we were waiting, he said they had done the same to him. This was unsettling to us. The room was nice sized but musky smelling. I had to get room deodorizer and Fabreeze to spray on the bedspreads. The price was what they should have charged for that room, but our price was no bargain for the quality. I would not perfer to stay there again.”

  • I did not like anything about this hotel!
  • Located in a seedy part of town. My family and I were afraid.

“This place was located in a seedy part of town. It was old and dirty and the rooms (2 of them) smelled musty. The other clientele were scary and seedy as well. I felt I was ripped off completely and if it were not that I had already paid for 2 rooms, we would have left. This experience definately made me question hotel quality. I felt I was overcharged.”

  • It was close to the interstate.
  • We were between a slimeball hotel and a liqour store, drunks were walking the streets and we were scared to go outside after dark.

“TERRIBLE LOCATION! I did not feel safe. People were wandering the hotel and the parking lot the entire night. Swimming at the pool, you had drunks staring at you thru the fence. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Very bad experience. Had a free breakfast, but everything but cereal was gone by the time we got there every morning!”

  • Price was good
  • The floors of our room turned our white socks black.

“The only room they had available when we checked in was a handicapped room with only one bed. The floors were filthy and the chairs were rickety. One morning, I had to take a cold shower because there was no hot water.”

  • Cleanliness, large rooms
  • All room doors opened to the outside. I prefer rooms opening to hallways.

“My previous experience with Ramada Inns has been poor. This one was far better that my husband and I expected. Very clean, staff was accommodating and friendly. The continental breakfast was far from delux, but better than average for the price range of the motel.”

  • We were lucky enough to get a nice view of the mountains.
  • We were promised free continental breakfast which we did not get!

“Besides the fact that it was a decent price and not totally the dirtiest hotel, it was pretty horrible. We expected a decent hotel for a two star and were promised free continental breakfast and when we got to the hotel and asked when the breakfast was the manager said they didn't offer it anymore and we would have to pay for our breakfast. Also the manager didn't speak much english so not much could be done about that. ”

“This is not a 3 star hotel. I asked for a three star hotel for the breakfast and semi comfortable accomodations. There was no breakfast. The rooms were poor and in disrepair. ”
