Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[9] • Location:[6]

  • The hot tub and steam room (over all great locker room at the fitness center).
  • Did not clean our room one day.

“Worth the drive to the fitness center, because of the 5 star locker rooms there!”

  • Beautiful location and lobby.
  • The only problem was a lot of noise from the room above and a dog that barked.

“Beautiful area of Colorado Springs with easy access to downtown if you have a car. Gorgeous lobby and great Sunday brunch. Friendly staff. Our room was a little tight, but comfortable.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Location:[10]

  • Beautiful location.
  • Room was not the cleanest, other guests were too loud.

“The resort itself needs to be updated/remodeled. The rooms were very dark, the carpet was old, the shower grout had a few spots of mold. It was not somewhere that I would take my family due to the type of guest that this resort is attracting. The view of the mountains was beautiful and the location to some of the area attractions was perfect. Lastly this resort is in desperate need of a makeover considering it is claiming three to four star ratings.”

  • Clean.
  • Pool, hot tub restaurants were many buildings away from our room.

“Hotel nice but snow was not removed from sidewalks and parking area making it a hazard to load and unload baggage. Fitness room, swimming pool, hot tub and restaurants were very far from our room blocks away not even close enough to walk we had to drive and they closed at 7 pm.”

  • It felt like I was in a mountain lodge.
  • Cleanliness of the room.

“The staff was very accommodating and all of them deserve to be commended. Housekeeping needs to check the rooms more thoroughly for cleanliness especially dust buildup and in the bathroom. Other than that, my stay was very relaxing and very enjoyable, I will definitely return to this resort!”

  • Beautiful place to stay, with a good view of Norad.
  • Overall a beautiful place, but the details were neglected. As newly weds in our early twenties we were treated as kids with no money!

“It took us 45 minutes to get into our room, we had to hear the front desk clerk in a fight with her husband on the phone (20 minutes phone call with here crying), and then our keys didn't work after a 10 minutes walk to our room. Once in our room someone's half drunk water bottle rolled out from under the bed. At the Mountain View restaurant the service was snooty with over priced, under seasoned food. The structure of the facility was however very nice, with a nice room that had all the standard facilities with a more expensive spent than average. I would not go back to that hotel, I rather save my money, stay at a Comfort Inn and get good service.”

  • The beautiful views.
  • Sunday brunch mediocre for the money.

“The views are beautiful. Staff sparse. Two people at check in with many checking in (slow). Sunday brunch less than stellar for almost $30 per person. Had to hunt down server to get coffee and drinks. I was given a 9:00 a.m. appointment for the next morning, but told due to the holiday weekend it might be a problem. I wasn't informed until 8:30 a.m., a 1/2 hr before my appointment I couldn't get the massage. The room was clean and the cleaning person was always timely and did an excellent job. The pool had one person at the snack bar who took forever to prepare drinks, a six person line. On the whole the hotel seemed to lack appropriate staff.”

“It was really clean and the people there were nice. I would recommend it to others.”

  • Beautiful hotel - nice view of mountains ¿ quiet.
  • Pool was only open until 7 p.m. And then didn't open until 11 a.m. (what a joke).

“We enjoyed the hotel. Nice location. Big problem was we traveled with kids and arrived at 5:30 p.m. To find out that pool was only open to lap swimmers after 7 p.m. And didn't reopen until 11 a.m. The next morning (which was checkout time) so the kids only got to swim for 1 1/2 hours. Not too pleased about that but mountain view was beautiful, room was very clean and golf course was excellent.”
