• Nothing.
• It didn't seem like it was a safe location and our room was in the basement. The smell was horrible!

• The hotel was for the most part clean and under renovation. I feel that is a good sign that they are interested in the maintenance of their facility.
• I understood that there was an indoor pool but it was under construction.

“The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was under renovation but not so much that it was an intrusion. I would stay here again.”

• Location and room was clean when we arrived.
• They did not clean our room the second day and replacement of the dirty towels was not done.

“Okay hotel with good location. Rooms were clean except for the mistake by house keeping in not cleaning our room on the second day.”

• A nice hot complimentary breakfast.
• It was under remodel & I was not aware of this.

“The hotel location was great, very easy to access. The remodel was a pain & things were not up to quality because of this fact. I wanted to stay at a hotel with a pool but it was so cold in the outside pool you couldn't get in with out freezing to death.”

• Very friendly staff.
• Parking lot not lighted entrance carpet removed with nails sticking up.

“Will be a nice place once remodeling is completed. Had to walk outside to reach front desk. Parking area did not feel safe. Could not find continental breakfast location.”

• Good breakfast, were put in a king suite.
• Needs updating.

“The hotel was under major renovation, the lobby was closed off and lots of rooms were being redone. This has been needed for some time. We were put in a king suite, however I feel it still needed some work done on it. On the plus side, they have a good hot breakfast. It is convenient to downtown, and is the only mid-range hotel in the area.”

• Breakfast in the morning was great.
• It was just an older hotel and we were not in there that long anyway.

“The hotel was nice but you can tell it was an older hotel. We were not in our room the whole time anyway so it didn't matter to us.”

• The price.
• The tears in the carpet and the seedy area of town.

“This hotel was accommodating for what we used it for. Just an overnight getaway from the kids. The beds were very soft and comfortable and the bedding was immaculate. The hotel is undergoing renovations and was boarded up in spots, but overall, I have really no big complaints.”

• Bed had extra pillows.
• Construction everywhere, neon window light, toilet broken (I fixed), TV remote broken (staff refused to fix), dirty, dumpy.

“Entire hotel is being remodeled, and it needs it. Dark and gloomy, lights are out everywhere, the restaurant and front desk are blocked off with plywood. Halls are blocked by hanging plastic sheets. Room has wireless internet, but doesn't work. TV remote doesn't work. Toilet runs on forever. A very depressing place. A $10 motel room would be better than this place.”

“The rooms were dated. The ceilings had water stains on them. The carpet was coming up. The tiles were cracked. The hallways were dirty. The elevator stunk and was hardly large enough for two. The beds sagged. Need I say more?”

“Everything was acceptable except for the shower. There was no pressure and the temperature fluctuated so drastically that my wife decided to go home without a shower on our final day.”

• The free breakfast and microwave and refrigerator in the room.
• The pool was outside.

“Great for families accommodated everything I needed for my children except the outside pool during the winter was closed.”

• The beds were comfortable. It was quiet and a good location.
• We stayed in the garden level and did have a pet but the who area smelled musty, like a basement.

“I was pretty disappointed when I mentioned that the room smelled very musty, triggering an asthma attack and they said they'd never had a complaint -- the smell was pretty obvious.”

“Overall, my stay at the Clarion was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The full-breakfast that was included with the room was a wonderful bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.”

• It was in a good location and clean.
• No hot water.

“We had no hot water and when we called the front desk they told us they just reset it and to let it run for 5 minutes. We let it run for 15 minutes and still no hot water. We immediately checked out. We will NOT stay there or recommend this hotel again.”

“It was a nice hotel. The personnel were very nice. Rooms were nice and clean. Didn't like the area it was in. It would have been nice to know that the lounge would be closed due to renovations.”
