“The hotel is going through some renovations, but they appear to be almost done. The room was really nice and was comfortable. The hotel was quiet. I would definitely recommend it (and would stay again).”

“I would stay at this hotel again, but I would not plan on going to the pool area. They have a nice bar and restaurant. The rooms are clean. They layout of the hotel is different but neat. Get a room on a higher floor because if there is noise in the lobby, you will hear it due to the layout of the rooms.”

“Under construction; no pool this is just plain unacceptable! I am sure it will be great when construction is complete. Fabulous and accommodating staff!”

“The people were very friendly. Although the hotel was under going some construction, it still looked very nice. It was beautiful, as were the views of the city and the mountains. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. Great for our large family.”

“Great hotel! They are currently finishing up with remodeling, but the workers were considerate and clean. Noise only happened during mid-day. Plus, the work is making the hotel look even better. The location is great for accessing anything in Denver. The rooms were nice, clean, comfortable, and up-scale. The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. The rooms on the west side of the hotel have great mountain views, especially the ones on the higher floors. The only negative for us was you could hear a train and some road noise occasionally, but that it is not enough to outweigh all the benefits of this hotel! One other note, if you are going to stay here in March 2008, make sure that you are a Marriott Rewards Member. (This hotel is part of the Marriott chain.) It is Member Appreciation Month. My husband and I got a free breakfast buffet at the nice hotel restaurant every morning of our 7 day stay.”

“Very disappointed, very busy, only 1 elevator in service out of 4. We had to carry our equipment up and down 4 flights of stairs. Restrooms out of service. Fire alarms kept going off. Exercise equipment broken and old. Hotel staff very friendly. Under normal circumstances this hotel would have been great.”

“The room was very nice and the staff was great. The lobby was a mess because of construction. Not much you can do about that. The hotel is located close to a train yard and we heard the trains banging on and off through out the night. If I didn't get such a good deal I would have been disappointed.”

“While the staff was friendly and apologetic for the construction going on, the hotel was in disarray. You're pretty much just staying in the room and leaving, not hanging out at any restaurant or lounge in the hotel. They're trying their hardest to appear like a high end hotel, but are seriously lacking. It's like a nice hotel in a bad neighborhood, you just can't do much to save it. We stayed the night just to catch a shuttle to the airport the next day, and it's fine for that. Just don't expect to use their pool, gym half their elevators or any other facility inside the hotel because it's closed due to construction.”

“Hotel would of been an enjoyable place to rest if our room was clean and they did not have to shuffle us around upon our arrival. The fire alarms went off most of the night and prevented any sleep and kept our babies up crying due to tiredness and being woke up. So without these issues I cannot give a good review of this hotel.”

“Hotel was under construction while I went and the pool was closed the day I wanted to use it. The restaurant inside was not good at all. I ordered chicken and ravioli and the chicken was dry as a bone but took over a half an hour to get.”
