• Loved apartment feel and balcony withgorgeous view. It was comfy, clean, and the staff was wonderful! We were very happy!
• We loved everything but the room color. Carpet and walls were gray. A little depressing but loved the room!

“I felt like we were in old Hollywood. Loved the older feel of the building with the reds and mirrors and brass. Staff was excellent! Even though the building was older, the room was very clean and the furniture was nice and comfortable. Had a wonderful breakfast in the restaurant and really appreciated the courtesy shuttle. Would love to go back and would recommend to everyone!”

• Not much, rooms were large, but carpet was terrible and everything was outdated.
• I thought I was staying downtown, it is at least 1.5 miles outside of downtown.

• Free shuttle bus to downtown.
• Location was in the middle of nowhere.

“King size bed was excellent, and kitchenette was a great suprise. The location of the hotel being a bit far from downtown to be considered a 3.5 star hotel. More like 2.5-3.0 star rating. Service and cleanliness was excellent.”

• I liked the shuttle service and everything about the stay period!
• No comment.

“I thought it was an excellent set up. My 19 old daughters enjoyed it. I liked the fact that I was able to put my daughter in the bed room, separate from her father and I being up in the front room. Overall, it was great!”

• Proximity to restaurants.
• The room was not homey and the bathroom was very undesirable.

“The hotel was not even close to my expectations of a 3 star hotel, the restroom was something out of a 70's porno, There was no area to relax, there was only an uncomfortable chair, a table and a bed, I was not impressed.”

• Good atmosphere in the bar and spacious suites.
• Hard to regulate and noisy heating system.

“The suites at this hotel are very spacious and comfortable. The bar has a lot of atmosphere, good food and a great happy hour. A big downside is the old and noisy air conditioning and heating system.”

• The rooms were excellent and very clean and the shuttle service was very handy.
• The only bathing that I can say about this hotel is I wish that we could have checked in early.

“I loved the hotel. I was above and beyond what I was expecting because of the reviews. The staff was very friendly and is room was so nice. If we ever have to go to Denver again we will definitely stay here.”

• Loved the suite and the shuttle service!
• The restaurant had a very limited menu.

“Due to overbooking, we received an upgrade to a suite and it was fabulous. The staff was always very helpful from room requests to the shuttle service. Great location in Denver to the stadiums and shopping.”

• It was our anniversary, so they upgraded our room.
• It was not what I consider in the actual downtown 16 St. Area.

“It was way to far away from anything to do. The shuttle only operated till 10:30pm. If it wasn't for the upgrade in the room I would have been very disappointed. This neighborhood should not be walked after dark, and my wife and I were harassed by two young men, very scary!”

• The rooms were very large.
• It felt run down and is badly in need of a remodel.

“For the price you can do much better in downtown Denver. There were roaches and a mouse trap in the room, it was never quite because of the loud water heater, and the whole place looks like it is about 10 years overdue for a remodel. Maybe this place was once 3 stars, but that needs to be updated. Badly.”

• Loved the layout. Just like being in an apartment. Very spacious.
• The bathroom may need a bit more updating.

“Great place to stay. My husband and I had a great stay. The staff was great. We had rented a car but didn't need it because they have a shuttle that took us where we wanted to go. Everything is also walking distant. We would stay there again. Next time we might bring the kids!”

“Staff was great. Very friendly. Rooms needed some updating, but overall were huge compared to anything you would typically get at a hotel. Views were amazing. Room was perfect for a family. We will definitely stay here again.”

• Friendly service and people. Free shuttle service.
• Location, dated rooms, locked front doors at 10 pm. Placed hand written note on door.

“I suggest this is hardly a three star hotel. The rooms were quite dated but clean. A little too far outside of the city considering I selected downtown. By definition it was downtown but not really. It was a long walk to get to the downtown area. They locked the front doors at 10 pm. Some nights and left a hand written note on the front door saying use the side door. Went to the side door and it also was locked. It was the other side door that was open. Not what you would expect from a three star hotel. Over all I would never want to stay at this hotel again.”

“The Burnsley is especially good for a traveler with an extended stay, more than three days. We enjoyed the accommodations in the kitchenette and the dining room. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. It's easy to tell that it used to be an apartment, but so what?”

• The lobby was very nice. Liked having a full kitchen & free parking.
• Needed some touch ups-holes in the ceiling by the pipes in the closet. Difficult to not get only scalding hot water in the shower.

“All in all was a good place to stay. There was an area in the closet at the ceiling that wasn't blocked off where the pipes ran into the room. Had difficulty in the shower trying to get hot water that didn't cook us - the faucet was very touchy. Granted-I'd rather have too much hot water than only cold to work with. There were places in the bathroom that needed touching up also. But was wonderful to have a full fridge & freezer. They will bring you a microwave at your request without any additional charge. The staff was wonderful each & every time we had to deal with them. Everything from the microwave to recommendations on places to eat. I didn't mark this hotel as a family friendly hotel because although they do have a (very) small pool - it is outside & not heated. It worked fine for us-we were in town for a convention. I would stay here again-but would check out their higher priced rooms as I already stated.”
