• The complimentary breakfast was good and the help was friendly.
• The hotel is getting run down and looked bad from the outside.

“We were pleased that the room was very clean except for the shower curtain. From the outside, I was somewhat worried what it would look like on the inside. The lobby and breakfast area was very clean and the help was great. I would recommend this hotel, but I would warn them about the outside.”

• The rooms were quiet and clean and everyone enjoyed the free breakfast options offered.

“I was traveling with my two teenage children as well as with my brother and sister-in-law and their two children, who were all visiting from England. They were braced for the worst, since we were looking for economical accomodations but were very pleasantly surprised by the comfort and spaciousness of the two rooms we occupied. Everyone found something that they liked for breakfast. Having that offered as a free benefit not only saved us money but time as well.”

• Very conveniently located near freeway. Excellent choice of restaurants nearby.

“Desk staff was very polite and accommodating. Check-in process was quick and easy. The bathroom was a little cramped. Maybe the best shower head pressure ever. I called it a shower & skin peel combination! Loved it.”

• Electrical outlets/lighting very confusing.

• Staff was very helpful and friendly. They made you feel welcome and cared for. The room was always neat and made up and they always made sure I had.
• Too far from friends and downtown, but it worked.

“It had a great continental breakfast and made sure there was enough of everything. The only thing was not enough seating room, but that isn't really practical to use all that space up. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The first day, we had a lovely cleaning lady help us to our room and get settled in, she was great and so very friendly. This is a great place to relax, and it was quiet even though close to the interstate. I would recommend it to anyone.”

• It was a nice place, the room was very nice and cozy.
• The maids were a little eager to walk in on me twice.

“The overall impression was good and the staff at lobby was very pleasant. The maids were nice but need to knock a little harder and give a person time to and let them answer the door before walking in. The pool and the grounds were very nice and well kept up.”

• Perfect location for my needs.
• I was a little put off by the exterior doors, gave it kind of a motel feeling.

“Not as nice as the other La Quinta hotels that I've stayed at, but it was fine for what we needed, which was just a place to stay overnight in the middle of a two day road trip.”

• The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
• Thread bare sheets, broken down bed, moldy bathroom, filthy fan.

“Even after completing the guest needs form after my 1st night stay to alert staff to a moldy shower and filthy ceiling fan (because, after all, they asked with an assurance that it would be taken care of), the need was ignored. This hotel is a well worn and outdated property. The bedding was threadbare with tears in the sheets. The bathroom shower had imbedded mold; the ceiling vent in the bathroom was layered with thick dirt and dust. There were many hairs in the bathroom when I arrived. Bugs crawled in the room and the carpet was a thin, dark, indoor/outdoor type that did not feel clean. I would not recommend this hotel.”

• They were knowledgeable about all the nearby attractions for family.
• The continental breakfast was not so great.

“Close to everything that we wanted to do. Museum's, zoo, Elitch's, butterfly pavilion. There were great restaurants nearby in every direction. There was excellent WI-FI available. There was a swimming pool which the kids loved. Overall this was a good experience and I would stay there again and recommend it to others as well.”

“The night manager was rude, we didn't get there until 12:45 and was told we woke him up. Then when we asked for a room with a King bed he said
we would could not get one. What terrible guest services, I guess they don't need business even though they were only about 1/2 full.”
