• The comfort of it all, the continental breakfast and coffee/hot chocolate.
• The heaters work way too well, impossible to keep a happy medium in temperature.

“This hotel was very nice for the money. I was impressed with the comfort of the room and the bed. Staff was helpful. The continental breakfast was much more than I expected and coffee and hot chocolate /cappuccino was available 24/day. The hotel looks a bit outdated, but is really nice inside with microwaves/fridge available in rooms. The internet worked perfectly, save for an interruption during a snow storm. The room was very clean. Overall a wonderful experience.”

• Great bed, nice mattress, quiet and more than a good night's sleep!
• No one knowledgeable to help with the business center.

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay, especially the uncexpectedly quiet nights' sleep we experienced. The hotel was very clean, the decor (both in our room and the lobby) were warm and lovely. The staff was consistently courteous and friendly and the variety of items on the complimentary breakfast menu was welcomed. Our 5-day stay was a semi-business trip and the quiet surrounds provided the environment we needed to do our research/work. As a matter of fact, we came home more rested from this trip than we have from many of our leisure vacations!”

• Nice & quite.
• Carpet on stairs was some what bumpy, not smooth. Husband tripped on them going up.

“It was nice to have someone at front desk who you were able to understand. Meaning that their English was not clear. Very helpful and comfortable. Would love to have a Microwave if possible in rooms. We go on business trips several time a year for several fairs in the surrounding areas. We have been going their since it was the Plaza Inn. It is convenient for us.”

• Free continental breakfast.
• The pool and hot tub are not very nice.

“The hotel is ok for sleeping. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. If I was looking to spend a relaxing weekend at a hotel enjoying the pool and hot tub this would not be my choice of places to stay. The free continental breakfast was satisfactory.”

• The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable! I've stayed in 5 star hotels that didn't offer a bed or pillows as comfortable as this La Quintal.
• Hotel looked a little worn.

“One of the best night sleeps I have ever had at a hotel. Great bed and pillows! I also loved the big leather recliner in the room. The shower was pretty nice, too. The hotel looks worn and inexpensive. It actually looked like an old motel converted to a La Quinta vs. a moderate scale hotel. The room looked very standard but in the areas that matter to most travelers (bed & shower) it rocked!”

• Convenient to major roads.
• No elevator; back door entrance to hotel did not always work - security problem!

“For the price the hotel was more than adequate. The free breakfast was good! The inside of the hotel lobby and hallways looked a little tired to me. I would stay there again.”

• The pet-friendly atmosphere.
• The halls smelled like smoke, but they are working on cleaning up.

• Clean and well-designed rooms, comfortable, 2 pools.
• There really wasn't anything that we did not like.

“This La Quinta had recently been remodeled and it was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was a pleasure to stay there.”

• I loved the pillows and the convenient location!
• I did not like the garish bedspread and drapery. Also, there was a musty smell present in some areas.

“I enjoyed my stay at La Quinta hotel in Ft. Collins, CO. The people who work there are what made the experience a pleasant one. They worked very hard to exceed the expectations of each guest and were very friendly.”

• It was reasonably clean.
• Didn't feel very secure. Didn't seem professional. Only one ice machine. People living there long term?

• The had an awesome breakfast!
• The pool was cold, and our room was smaller than the other rooms.

“This is a great hotel to stay in. The pool was too cold for us to swim in, our particular room was one of the 2 smaller rooms in the hotel, and was almost too small, but the service was great as well as the breakfast. Great facilities, easy to find, would very much recommend to someone else.”

• The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows.
• The walls were a little thin; I could hear the people next door. There isn't an elevator to the second floor.

“The location was perfect for my business trip. The room was great with the exception of a little house keeping lapse. House keeping missed some spots. The bed was great - very comfortable with lots of pillows.”
