• The staff was very competent, diverse, and friendly.
• It did not match the criteria of the other 3 star hotels.

“A pleasant and clean hotel; perfect for the business traveler, but not ideal for a romantic getaway. Within walking distance from popular Promenade and restaurants. 2.5 stars.”

• The bed! It was great.
• The food and service at the restaurant could've been better.

“Very convenient to downtown Boulder and right across the street from a mall! The bed was wonderful and the staff was very kind and always smiling. I loved it.”

• The hotel let us check in 4 hours before the regular check in time. We were very impressed!
• The only thing we didn't like was that the bathtub/shower was not fully cleaned. There was hair in the shower.

“I have never had such great and friendly service at a hotel. They let us check in early (we didn't think we could) with no problems at all. Room service was excellent! The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home :-) I would recommend this hotel to all my friends! I am definitely staying there again.”

• Clean, comfortable beds.
• No vanity in the bathroom. There was no place to put your toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.

“The location was great, the hotel was clean, and there were several restaurants within walking distance.”

• The spa was next door and wonderful.
• There was a little construction in the side parking lot that was ugly.

“I loved this hotel. We had a view of the Flatirons which were beautiful. I headed over to the spa and had the best experience. The 50 minute massage was heaven! My spouse and I had room service for dinner and it was pretty good. I would recommend this hotel to others and will for sure stay there again.”

• Tip top hotel, everything you'd want was pretty much there.
• Weak sound proofing at the door between rooms made it seem like the person next door was in the room.

“This is an excellent hotel in a great location for the Boulder Area. It was great for romantics and business travelers, in part, thanks to the excellent staff. Great bedding too!”

• The internet worked well. The staff was very nice.
• The facility is getting a bit rundown.

“Carpets worn. Paint peeling. Mirror in the bathroom was loose. The remote to the TV was falling apart. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. Two of the exercise room machines did not work well. There was a fire alarm a 3:30 am when one of the room air conditioners burned out.”

• Decent location.
• Wouldn't want to pay the full rate to stay here- rather average place.

“We had weird, empty rooms with Murphy beds. The lobby wasn't very attractive and the staff was less than friendly at times. The location is a 15 minute walk to the Pearl Street Mall. It was fine.”

• Convenient, helpful staff, comfortable room, although the pillows left a lot to be desired, well-lit hallways and convenient parking garage.
• Ambience and space in restaurant was mediocre.

• Location - and extremely friendly and helpful staff!
• The gym was small.

“Great location, with nice shopping and great restaurants nearby. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The pool and hot tub were excellent, as were the beds and the views. The gym was a little small, but better than nothing.”

• It was clean.
• Cold pool, cold lobby, and TV poor reception.

“To me this is not 3 stars. It's not as if you are staying at the sty. Julian in the real downtown. This could work for business travel but for much less money I¿ll stay in Louisville and commute. Not having even a pot of coffee in the lobby in the am is inexcusable.”

• Staff very friendly.
• Gym not very big and parking outside small.

• Free covered parking. Room was extremely nice.
• Nothing we didn't like.

“This is a first class hotel at a nice location in the city. Plenty of restaurants nearby and only five minutes from the pearl street mall area. Free underground parking was a big plus.”
