  • It had a pool.
  • Too expensive, room was hot, facilities seemed old.

“You'd be better off staying at one of the numerous local hotels.”

  • Lots of outdoor activities (pool, jacuzzi, shuffleboard, basketball, horseshoes; spectacular views; good continental breakfast.
  • A bit old and somewhat worn but expected in this price range.

“This is a somewhat older motel. Most of the rooms on the 2nd floor had a fantastic view of the Rockies. Some of the views from the first floor rooms would be block by nearby buildings. The rooms were larger than an average hotel room, were clean, and provided with coffee pot, small refrigerator, and microwave. The motel had a relatively large pool with jacuzzi and a number of outdoor activities including half-court basketball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, picnic table with grills. The continental breakfast was about average with cereal, muffins, bread/toaster, coffee and juice.”

  • Location.
  • Very smoky smell.

“I would not stay here again if it were free! This is my second time staying at a Travelodge. I can say now this was my last. The staff did not speak to me at all, except during booking in. I was told it was a non-smoking room but it stank of smoke. I was told it was a queen bed, it was a double.”

  • The hotel was very well located to others we were vacationing with.
  • The hotel had a very weird set up and the beds were very uncomfortable and very over priced.

“This was very over priced for the quality of room we stayed in. We could have stayed at a local bed and breakfast for less money. The bed was very uncomfortable. I will not stay at this hotel again.”

  • Good for teens it had a basketball hoop & a pool. Great deck.
  • Location was not safely walking distance to downtown.

“This hotel is perfect for a family with teens or younger children. The front desk staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. We stayed in a room with a deck
it added charm and space. Although it is an older property, it is kept up well and the price is not exceedingly high.”

  • The Customer service at the HOTEL was wonderful.
  • Hotel staff the first night was not accommodating, though the next day the manager on duty was very helpful

“We checked into the Holiday Inn about 12:00am - only one person working the desk. He was extremely unhelpful, the gentleman had placed myself & my spouse into a double bed which we had not requested, and stated that he could not give us anything else, and did not have time to look at all because he was busy. Secondly, we have not been to that area before, we had asked for places to go to, he would not say anything but everything is closed. We beg to differ, as we went out to the downtown area, and there were a few bars open which is exactly what we were asking for. The next day which was quite busy due to High school Graduation which is why we were there. We spoke with the Desk Manager and discussed our problem the night prior. He asked if we could give him a few minutes. Come 5 minutes later, he had found a room with a king bed, along with giving us a suite for the troubles we had incurred the night before. He was very helpful and friendly, which ended up making our trip a success.”
