• Bed was very comfortable, front desk staff was friendly and helpful with making dinner reservations for us.
• Called room service & had to leave a message. Order never arrived, called back & they did not get the message so we had to order again.

• Location to Rocky Mountain National Park.
• Facility appeared to be in need of a facelift. Showing signs of wear.

“We had stayed in this hotel at least 12 - 15 years ago. It appears that the facility is in need of a facelift, after that many years any facility would need one. Outside appearance of lobby, sign, etc. Staff was courteous and nice, helpful.”

• Front desk staff was helpful, gave complementary breakfast because of bugs and mold.
• Room had bugs, elevator did not work, shower ceiling had mold on it.

“The motel has a convenient location, nice pool and hot tub. Room was quiet. The elevators did not work, there were bugs in the room, and mold in the shower stall ceiling. They compensated with a free breakfast buffet and tried to be helpful. Landscaping was in poor shape, property looked aged and out of date.”

• Pool was nice and clean perfect temperature.
• The elevator was broke and I was on the 4th floor. It had been broke for awhile.

• It was clean, quiet and the staff was friendly.
• The room was hard to locate and there was no elevator so I needed help getting my luggage up the stairs.

“It was clean, the rooms were nice and the staff was friendly. I wish there would have been an elevator to the second floor to get to our room. We would stay here again.”

• Good view of fireworks on fourth of July.
• Lack of elevators.

“Was pretty clean. Rooms were not guaranteed clean till 4:00 pm! Don't take a lot of suit cases. No elevators in back to wings of hotel just stairs.”

• It was the best property I saw like it near Estes Park.
• The check-in person had me wait to check stating that the 3rd floor was too high without working elevators. Then placed me on the 4th!

“Totally up to par for a two star hotel and in an excellent part of Estes Park. I was able to bike to the wonderfully coffee shop (Kind Coffee) along the Big Thompson River in five minutes and than meander over to Ed's Cantina for Breakfast before heading up into the mountains each day. The pool, restaurants, and bar were great and the staff was pleasant. I'd seek this hotel out upon return to Rocky Mountain National Park.”

• The wait staff at the restaurant were friendly in the AM.
• Mediocre - dark - view of wall instead of mountains.

“I will recommend it because of other positive experiences - but not this one. The hotel is in a beautiful location and yet we were in a room with a view of an exterior wall. Staff disinterested for the most part. Dark dank feeling.”

“Great place for the price. If you are looking for a romantic location, this may not be it. However it is a great location to use as a base for the National Park. I would stay again.”

• Clean and comfortable.
• No elevator to the 3rd floor in my section and partner uses a cane, did not know this at check-in.

“This is a clean, comfortable hotel with extra nice towels and soap/shampoo/lotion. Coffee maker in room. The pool was too cold for the children to play in the water for very long and the hot tub was too hot so that was a frustrating experience. Overall, the hotel was conveniently located and very nice.”
