  • Genuine Indian Southwest motif was pleasing.
  • I liked everything.

“Hotel Santa Fe was a charming, comfortable, and very pleasing place to stay. The outside areas of the swimming pool and patio dining were handsomely landscaped with Southwestern vegetation and flowers. The courtesy van service was a wonderful bonus that worked beautifully. I definitely would stay there again.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • Although there was a 2 foot snowfall, the staff performed very well under pressure.
  • Lobby and common areas relatively small for size of hotel, spa services minimal on site.

“Very comfortable hotel with good amenities. It is far enough away from the main square to be more moderately priced but close enough to walk to.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Within walking distance of downtown and a nice pool.
  • Too expensive for what you get.

“the hotel is very nice and in a fairly convenient location, but is a bit overpriced. For your hefty room fee you don't even get a complimentary bottle of water (and this is at a hotel in the desert). In fact, the complete lack of complimentary items (except for the obligatory shampoo and such) makes them seem a little cheap. The staff was friendly, but the overall experience was very impersonal.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Santa Fe. It was within walking distance to several great restaurants and close to the Plaza. There was even a free shuttle if we didn't feel like walking. They have free wireless Internet in the lobby too!”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Very clean and comfortable room. Free shuttle
  • Noisy pool. Staff standing around and talking.

“Good value for what we paid. I speak enough Spanish to hear the cursing over breakfast by the staff that is standing around shooting the breeze. Don't like the "F" word with my eggs.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[7]

  • Staff were friendly, helpful & gracious. Love the quiet flute music playing in the background.
  • Restaurant overpriced and not very good food for dinner. Lamb was terrible, and their recommended raspberry desert was like glue.

“Nice decor, friendly helpful staff, clean & pleasant, quiet & relaxing, fair location, overpriced restaurant for dinner & food at dinner poor regardless of the price. Love the out door dining.”

Location:[7]

  • The ambiance, the friendly staff, the purple cabs.
  • The size of our room was too small for more than one chair.

“Very pleasant. In a nice area. Offers convenient transportation to all parts of Sant Fe. Decor is very warm and friendly. Service staff is excellent.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • The location, 10 minutes walking distance from downtown, near Site Santa Fe.
  • Inadequate internet options. Some rooms no hookup, some DSL, very spotting wi-fi in lobby.

“The hotel is ideally located, situated on Paseo de Peralta, the road that loops around historic downtown Santa Fe. The adobe style 3-story hotel is rustic southwest, and very nicely appointed with exposed wood beams and traditional crafts and blankets accenting the rooms and common areas. Getting around is made even easier by the hotel's free shuttle service for pick-up and drop-off anywhere in town.”
