• Very reasonable price, close to center of town.

“Not fancy, but quite suitable for a short stay in Santa Fe. Much better than the hotel I stayed at in Denver recently.
It was a 5 star priced, 1 star hotel (my opinion).”

• Room was bright, clean.
• Exterior was grim.

“Closeish to the Santa Fe Plaza. A 15 minute walk, not three blocks. The staff was very nice room was clean and cheery, although the chairs were uncomfortable. The exterior was depressing a hot parking lot off the main road. It looked uninviting, industrial. Can't they do something, anything, to make the place look a little more inviting. Some plants or flowers would go a long way.”

• Rude manager.

“We arrived at midnight and were told by the manager, that we had no room. This was a lie and on top of that, he basically threw us out of his office, without offering to find us another hotel. It was no fun, on a busy Spanish Market weekend, sitting in the parking lot, trying to find three rooms, for three couples. We found other lodging which we all believe was a better quality of hotel room with a much cleaner & expanded complimentary continental breakfast.”

• Convenient as we just stopped to sleep half way to our final destination.
• Room very small, too small for 2 beds, practically had to crawl over the bed to get to the bathroom.

“Convenient but too small of a room for 2 beds. Looks like the rooms were being remodeled and there were lot's of details that were unfinished.”

• Very, even aggressively, basic.

• Moderately convenient to downtown plaza.
• No restaurant.

“Newly remodeled, comfortable beds and acceptable bathrooms. Clean. Convenient to historic downtown plaza.”

• Great location.
• Coffee pot dirty, electrical problems with fridge, lights, etc.

“Great price, great location. They need to get some work done on their electrical outlets. They need their cleaning staff to be consistent and replace all the towels, clean the coffee maker, etc.”

• The room was extremely clean and well furnished.
• The construction guys started work at 7 am. On a Saturday.

“All in all, I would say this hotel met my expectations as far as price and economy go. The room was great, as was the location (about four blocks from the plaza). The one staff person they had on staff was a joke--he basically ignored any inquiry of any k”

• Inadequate parking and in an area with little street parking.

“This is a ratty motel that happens to have a great location and thus can charge exorbitant prices for rooms. We returned from an evening event to find no parking available, and we had to scrounge a few blocks away in a run-down residential area for a space.”

• Filthy and uncomfortable.

“There was a vagrant family behind our room who partied until 4:00am. The AC did not work and we could not open the window because of the loud partying. The room smelled bad and the sheets smelled like smoke. No one slept the two nights we stayed there. Overall one of the worst stays I have ever experienced.”
