• Clean, neat rustic decor, good breakfast, very nice rooms.
• Staff could have been friendlier.

“Excellent place, pleasantly surprising for the 1 star rating. We stayed at a Double Tree the next day and wanted to go back to Salida and Days Inn.”

• No pool.

“Owners work very hard to make common areas inviting. Breakfast is ok. Pet friendly. Great location. Good value for the price. Would definitely recommend.”

• The decorations are quaint and out of the ordinary. Very friendly couple management.
• It is a generic hotel room for sleeping, cable, whatever.

“We had a great stay, close to town, 25 miles to monarch, 25 miles to Buena vista, right on highway 50.”

• Easy to find with friendly staff and good parking. Very comfortable beds. Lots of pillows.
• Breakfast started at the time we needed to leave (0700) due to our time constraints.

“We were greeted by a friendly young lady with prompt check in. The room was comfortable with all the amenities. Ample pillows supplied all our different needs. Check out was quick and painless, well, almost!”

• Owner was very friendly and gave us great advice on things to do around Saluda.
• Side entrance doors were not locked at night. My wife noticed this.

“We would stay there again, very well kept and clean. Shows pride of ownership. Also it's in a fine location for enjoying all Saluda has to offer.”
