“I was happy to stay at this hotel at the price. It is clean and nice. It has a pool and spa. The room was very spacious. Also, the hotel has underground parking and a restaurant (the food is overpriced as expected). The hotel is a bit worn with slow, small elevators and cramped bathrooms. The bed also was not comfortable and no air conditioning in Summer made the room stuffy.”

“We had a Saturday night stay in Breckenridge at the Great Divide Lodge. The hotel is in a good location, just a short walk to Main Street, and the slopes in the winter. We found the shops in town stayed open a little later on this Saturday (9 pm or so). I was mildly surprised how close the Beaver Run Resort is to this place. It seems these two properties were built on top of one another. Our standard king room was on the 8th floor, south side. This meant it was quite an adventure getting there. For some reason, the design of the hotel forces guests staying on floors 8-10 to take three different elevators to their room from the underground garage. The first elevator takes you from the garage to the lobby, the second from the lobby to the 7th floor, and the third from the 7th floor up to floors 8-10. Once you get off on the 7th floor, one must travel down 3 different hallways to finally reach the last elevator. For a one night stay with a fair amount of luggage, this was a nuisance. The room helped make up for the long journey to get there. We could see the mountain to the far right, but most of our view was the Beaver Run Resort. I believe it when they say the rooms are 500 square feet. I liked the in-room refrigerator, complimentary internet, Starbucks for the morning, and that comfortable king bed. One can really spread out in a room this size, especially during ski season. The place was quiet at night, no problem sleeping. Although the room was clean, the only flaw I noticed was some of the wall paper was peeling under the window. We found it strange that the large window in the room could be only opened about 5 or 6 inches because of a barrier screwed into the window frame. The front desk told me that someone had fallen out a window, so now it's the same precaution in every room. It definitely took a lot longer to cool down the room, thanks to the help of.”

“This hotel had everything required for a family of 5 with small kids. The staff was very accommodating, they stored our bikes securely, and parking was convenient. The workout, pool, hot tub, sauna, internet and game room were a blast for the kids; the location provided full access to all of Breckenridge. I can't say enough great things about the hotel!”

“The staff at the hotel was not friendly, to get to the room you had to go to 2 different elevators and our view was terrible. The room was not bad, but located in a very inconvenient area and it had no view. The parking garage was so small parking and getting in and out was very difficult.”

“The hotel is in good proximity to Breckenridge. The rooms do not have air conditioning. They do provide a fan but then you have to open your sliding door to access outside air (security risk). The bathroom is tiny. We had no view. This hotel is not a 3-star hotel. More likely a 2-star or maybe a 2.5 star.”

“We really enjoyed the hotel; it was minutes walking to and from Downtown "Breck." The staff was informative and very friendly. The only thing that bothered us was taking the elevator to the sixth, having to walk to the other side of the hotel to either take the stairs two levels up or taking another elevator to the 8th floor. It is a factor that can be ignored as the beauty of the surroundings makes up for it.”

“This hotel should just be used for business travelers or skiers. There is a big safety concern as there are not just one set of stairs to get out of the hotel. You have to cross over on the 7th floor to get to the other set of steps. The outdoor pool is down the street. The staff was unfriendly and rude. The staff did not know an answer to a question, they would just give an answer instead of finding the correct one. This hotel is not a good for families and we would never stay there again.”

“I had a great stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful. They provide free ski storage, free shuttles anywhere you want to go Downtown, a good breakfast (although it's not free), a warm and inviting lobby, and a great location very near to the ski lifts. It's *not* ski in, ski out though, so you will have to schlep your skis uphill a bit to get to the Beaver Run lift. I loved having covered underground parking. My only real complaint is that the elevators were kind of crazy, so if you were in the 2nd level of the parking garage, you had to take 3 different elevators to get to the 9th floor. Overall, a great experience.”

“About 50 feet away from the lifts, this hotel is awesome, if all u want to do is backpack, eat out and ski. If u are looking for the something more, then u may want to go elsewhere.”
