  • Proximity to town was good.
  • It's been around for awhile, no real atmosphere.

“We could walk to town, our car was secure in a locked park garage, so that was a plus. The hotel lacked atmosphere however, our room was ground level and we looked at weeds! I don't believe for all the hotels in Breckenridge that we would go back.”

  • The price was great.
  • A
little further from town then I liked.

“The rooms were nice and the price was great. The only downside was that it was a little further from town then the other places.”

  • The room was large and the service was excellent.
  • There is a $15.00 resort fee that is charged per day.

“We had a nice room with a good view. The hotel offered free shuttle service that would take you to wherever you wanted to go in town and pick you up, and take you back to the hotel.”

  • Location.
  • Even in September this small room got very warm.

“Room was small with poor air circulation and no air-conditioning. The window only opened 4 inches which was not enough to get the room aired out. Hotel did provide a fan but the window did open enough to utilize the full effect of the fan.”

  • Great location!
  • Could use some updating.

“Great location, within walking distance to all the downtown area shopping and restaurants. The room was very large and the pool/hot tubs looked nice.”

  • Great location, nice rooms.
  • Poor housekeeping, poor response to our complaint.

“Other than our concern with housekeeping, the hotel was very nice - great location and views.”

  • Location.
  • No air conditioning; uncomfortable bed.

“I was happy to stay at this hotel at the price. It is clean and nice. It has a pool and spa. The room was very spacious. Also, the hotel has underground parking and a restaurant (the food is overpriced as expected). The hotel is a bit worn with slow, small elevators and cramped bathrooms. The bed also was not comfortable and no air conditioning in Summer made the room stuffy.”

  • Big room, free internet.
  • The elevator system is ridiculous.

“We had a Saturday night stay in Breckenridge at the Great Divide Lodge. The hotel is in a good location, just a short walk to Main Street, and the slopes in the winter. We found the shops in town stayed open a little later on this Saturday (9 pm or so). I was mildly surprised how close the Beaver Run Resort is to this place. It seems these two properties were built on top of one another. Our standard king room was on the 8th floor, south side. This meant it was quite an adventure getting there. For some reason, the design of the hotel forces guests staying on floors 8-10 to take three different elevators to their room from the underground garage. The first elevator takes you from the garage to the lobby, the second from the lobby to the 7th floor, and the third from the 7th floor up to floors 8-10. Once you get off on the 7th floor, one must travel down 3 different hallways to finally reach the last elevator. For a one night stay with a fair amount of luggage, this was a nuisance. The room helped make up for the long journey to get there. We could see the mountain to the far right, but most of our view was the Beaver Run Resort. I believe it when they say the rooms are 500 square feet. I liked the in-room refrigerator, complimentary internet, Starbucks for the morning, and that comfortable king bed. One can really spread out in a room this size, especially during ski season. The place was quiet at night, no problem sleeping. Although the room was clean, the only flaw I noticed was some of the wall paper was peeling under the window. We found it strange that the large window in the room could be only opened about 5 or 6 inches because of a barrier screwed into the window frame. The front desk told me that someone had fallen out a window, so now it's the same precaution in every room. It definitely took a lot longer to cool down the room, thanks to the help of.”

  • Staff was professional and hotel was clean and well maintained.
  • Did not have the option for 1 king or 2 full sized beds. Would have liked to have the option.

“The hotel staff was very professional and customer service focused. The hotel and the room were well maintained and looked neat and clean. Great location off Park Road walking distance to shops and restaurants. Free underground parking.”

  • Big rooms, very accommodating staff, great location, had everything required!
  • Bathroom and kitchenette were cramped, facilities showed age, but it's a ski resort, so that would be expected.

“This hotel had everything required for a family of 5 with small kids. The staff was very accommodating, they stored our bikes securely, and parking was convenient. The workout, pool, hot tub, sauna, internet and game room were a blast for the kids; the location provided full access to all of Breckenridge. I can't say enough great things about the hotel!”

  • Location.
  • Room location, inconvenient location for us, parking tight.

“The staff at the hotel was not friendly, to get to the room you had to go to 2 different elevators and our view was terrible. The room was not bad, but located in a very inconvenient area and it had no view. The parking garage was so small parking and getting in and out was very difficult.”

  • I enjoyed the view from my room.
  • Getting in and checking in were a little tricky. Not enough parking during check in.

  • Proximity to Breckenridge.
  • No air conditioning. Tiny bathroom, Poor view.

“The hotel is in good proximity to Breckenridge. The rooms do not have air conditioning. They do provide a fan but then you have to open your sliding door to access outside air (security risk). The bathroom is tiny. We had no view. This hotel is not a 3-star hotel. More likely a 2-star or maybe a 2.5 star.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[10]

  • The room was beautiful and walking distance to Main Street.
  • You have to walk across the hotel and switch elevators to reach higher floors.

“We really enjoyed the hotel; it was minutes walking to and from Downtown "Breck." The staff was informative and very friendly. The only thing that bothered us was taking the elevator to the sixth, having to walk to the other side of the hotel to either take the stairs two levels up or taking another elevator to the 8th floor. It is a factor that can be ignored as the beauty of the surroundings makes up for it.”

“Dated and hard to get to rooms. Have to take two separate elevators. Poor service in the dining room. Overall I would rate hotel a 2 star.”
