  • Location.
  • Lobby was too dark.

“It is clean, lobby was too dark
and friendly staff.”

  • Great staff.

“The hotel itself is fairly decent and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a restaurant which unfortunately closes around 8 pm.”

  • Good location, helpful staff, competitive price & value.
  • Decor somewhat dated.

“For the money this is a good value within a 5 minute walk of Vail Village and the lifts. Dog friendly.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[3] • Location:[9]

  • The room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable.
  • The towels were really small and the desk guy wasn't very nice or bright.

“Nice and clean, convenient.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • The Hotel was centrally located.
  • The busted window and screen. No security.

“For one night it was fine. The first room we were in had a busted window and screen. It was obvious that the room had been broken into. Surprised the hotel hadn't maintained better. Second room had no screen. Couldn't leave window open to air out and cool room. No AC available. Room was stuffy and warm.”

  • The location.
  • Room keys never worked.

“This hotel was the least favorite of all hotels I've have stayed but not bad at all just not as nice as I expected.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[2] • Location:[9]

  • Excellent location.
  • It sounded like we were sleeping on I-70.

“The hotel is nice with great amenities & a great location. On the downside, there is no air conditioning so you have to open the windows to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. This would be okay except for that the hotel is right off of the highway. We didn't sleep at all because of the highway noise. Also, the front desk staff was terribly rude and unhelpful.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[1] • Location:[10]

  • Location to shops/restaurants.
  • Dreary appearance inside and outside of property and unfriendly staff.

“The hotel could use a complete cleaning, inside and out. Desk staff appeared unfriendly. It was as if they were doing you a favor to wait on you. It would have been nice to know that hotel was not air conditioned and on a busy interstate. Very loud to sleep with windows open.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[5] • Location:[9]

  • Location. It was clean.
  • Restaurant facilities were awful. Kitchen far away. One waitress. Food was awful.

“I was pleased with the hotel until I had to eat at the restaurant. Seriously understaffed with a long walk for the one waitress to the kitchen. Food took ages to come and was really bad when it did - fish in fatty batter not cooked on the inside.”

  • Location.
  • Quality not what I expected. I have seen well.

“The hotel was just an older hotel that was not updated in many areas. The restaurant breakfast didn't even have fruit for cereal. I just didn't meet expectations.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[2] • Location:[7]

  • Location. That's about it.
  • Had maintenance problem with TV. Maintenance man did not speak English and he could not understand our problem.

“Maintenance man did not speak English. We had a lot of trouble getting him to understand the problem we had. I wonder if he was an illegal employee. Did not like that at all. Pool not very attractive.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[5] • Location:[9]

  • Easy access.
  • Very old! No temperature controls or fans in room - noisy, near freeway.

“My kids were most excited to swim in a heated pool, outside, but, of course it was closed! Very small, old rooms with no temperature controls in the room or a fan to drown out the noise of semis and cars on the freeway, block away.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[3] • Location:[7]

  • Parking and location were easy to find.
  • Old and run down. Unconcerned staff. Hot tub and pool were out of order.

“Staff was robot like. Just barely responded to questions and weren't very helpful. The hotel was old and a little worn. The bed was not very comfortable and the room was a little run down. The hot tub and pool were not working. I was very disappointed.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[2] • Location:[7]

  • Not much to like, just a place to sleep.
  • Staff was not helpful and unconcerned. The pool and hot tub was not working. The restaurant had a very limited selection.

“Robotic staff not helpful at all. I cut my arm on a sharp object on the door and they would not even find me a band aid, or something to stop the bleeding. The hotel was a little run down and after driving all day, I was looking forward to the hot tub. Well it was not working and neither was the pool. I did not eat at the restaurant because after looking at the menu there was only 3 or 4 items on the menu. All in all I will not have stayed there. The front as well as the room was a little run down and old looking, with need of upkeep.”

  • Easy to see from highway 70.

“Hotel was nice and clean. Only bad things we have to say concern the staffing of the bar and the restaurant. The bar waitress was slow and inattentive. There was loud music blaring and we couldn't hear ourselves talk although there was only one other table of patrons. (They commented on the poor service as well). The restaurant staff was very nice but not very well trained. For example: they brought the oatmeal with the milk already poured in it so that it was cold. They didn't use the trays and brought out one dish at a time for a party of 8!”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[1] • Location:[9]

  • Nothing!
  • Slow service, filthy amenities, awful breakfast, retarded front desk agent.

“Dirty, run-down, awful food for breakfast. The wake up call for me and my friend requested the night before was never performed. When confronted, the front desk agent had nothing to say. Was absolutely unhelpful. I would never stay at that place again, even if it's free.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[1] • Location:[4]

  • The sheets were clean.
  • Neither the thermostat not the bathroom heater worked.

“I would not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of other hotels with better service and moderate prices. Both desk clerks, with whom I had contact, were rude. Neither of the heaters in the room worked and it was snowing. I left and found another hotel. I will not return to this one.”
